I usually get Buff Beige in this pressed powder but they were out of stock. I have light skin so I decided to try out the Classic Ivory. I don't wear primer, foundation, concealer...any of that. My makeup ritual, when I wear any at all, consists of powder, mascara, chapstick and a tiny bit of eyeliner. Once in a while I will wear a small amount of eye shadow but it's usually a neutral color and something I don't do often. I want a powder I can wear alone. This has always worked well for me. Obviously this color is a bit lighter than what I usually get but it worked just as well. I don't have to use much and it makes my skin look softer and smoother while giving it a nice glow. It doesn't looked caked or unnatural and it really does help with fine line blurring. I never use the sponges that come with it, preferring a powder brush instead. I workout 5-6 days a week and usually do it right after work. I don't always wash my face first. This doesn't leave my skin feeling heavy or clogged afterwards. I don't carry my makeup (or lack thereof) around with me so I also want something that doesn't leave my face looking shiny and luckily I don't get that with this one. It arrived well packaged and there was no cracks or crumbling. Covergirl Simply Ageless has become *the* pressed powder for me and I love that I have two colors choices in case one is out. If you prefer something light that provides blurring and looks natural, this is it.

I am crazy about this product ! It really does blur wrinkles and does not settle in them. It seems to last forever. I use as last step after foundation. I am trying the sheer for first time. I had used a color but wated to try sheer. I can say if it is like the color choice I will use it. It goes on with its own sponge same shape (round) in its own compartment with a mirror. This is top quality and everything you need is right there. The sponge is as good as expensive sponges purchased alone. I love this! I say buy it, you won't regret it. Price is so reasonable and it lasts and lasts through out the day and also over time in product in compact wihic is divided for each item.

The last time I used covergirl was in the 1990's and I was a teen -- recently decided to try some of their products again so I used this powder with the covergirl ageless primer & 24hour foundation. The product is honestly great and I'm very happy with the price point and results. This is comparable to prestige anti aging full coverage brands.

This is a very nice pressed powder and I was happy to find it after my then-current favorite disappeared from the market. It advertised that it glides over wrinkles and makes them disappear, or something like that. It’s very easy to apply and feels soft and smooth going on but perhaps my wrinkles are deeper than that to which they were referring! I’m in my mid-sixties and have been dismayed at the depth my wrinkles have become, and alas, the powder doesn’t make them disappear. It still gives good coverage so I’ll continue to use it.

First off, thank you, amazon, for replacing the product right away. The package delivered at my door was not mine, I reported, and Amazon sent a replacement right away. As far as the product goes, it's long lasting, but it does take a few minutes before it's sheer. Keeps the face from getting greasy.

I was concerned when opened. The translucent is very white. But after trying a few times, I am very happy with how it looks , sets my foundation and the longer it is on the smoother my skin looked.
