I have combination skin (leaning towards oily) with blemishes. Decided it was time for a makeover and I wanted a foundation with good coverage, easy to apply, would look reasonably natural, and something that would last all day. Did some research and read a lot of reviews, tried a few, and ended up with this fantastic Covergirl foundation. It is by far the least expensive of the ones I tried so that is icing on the cake. The first one I tried (natural beige) had too much of a pink undertone for me since I'm Asian, and I don't have a lot of pink skin undertones naturally. But then I tried another (soft honey) and it was a perfect match for my skin. I make sure to shake the bottle first, then pump just once onto the back of my left hand. I use a brush with a big flat round application area to put it on. After getting some on the brush, I stipple it where I want the most coverage, then use the brush to blend it around. I blend it well towards my jaw and neck, and into my hairline too. It's really easy and fast to apply it that way. And for areas that I want more coverage, I just stipple more in those areas. When I started wearing it, I got so many compliments at work! And people couldn't figure out what the difference was, they just kept saying - you look really great! When I told some of them I was using a new foundation, some of the women remarked on how natural it looked. I find that it wears only a little bit by the end of the day, and that's fine with me - it just looks even more natural by then. Since I started wearing this foundation, I feel more confident and beautiful. And I've had problems with breaking out in the past to a lot of different products - I've been wearing this for over a month now without any problems. I hope this review is helpful to someone else out there who also feels like it's time for a makeover and wants to look and feel fantastic!

Nice foundation. I like how it feels on my skin, it doesn't feel heavy and it makes you feel like you don't need to apply setting powder, however, I like to set it with my Maybelline Fit Me pressed powder in shade 310. The foundation looks more even when applied with a flat brush in my opinion. I got shade 860 Classic Tan, it oxidates and looks a bit darker/orangy after applied but I solve it with the powder, also my skin is currently lighter than it should be since I don't have that much exposure to direct sunlight, so maybe for a tanned version of my skin this shade would be perfect. I consider the coverage to be light-medium, you have to apply at least two good layers to see some fair coverage. But it's perfect for everyday use if you like a natural balanced look. I have oily skin and I don't really do full flawless look make up too often. Where I live it's sunny and hot all year, so I wanted something that would make my face look uniform and smooth but still natural and without feeling to heavy or getting oily after hours. This does the job ok. No complains so far, just keep in mind that it oxidates so I'd recommend you to get a lighter shade or get a lighter powder. Maybe the smell is somewhat a little stronger than expected, I never pay that much attention to the smell of make up but this time it does smell after hours of having applied it and I'm not used to that. Actually, when I hug or cheek-kiss someone, they smell it, I'm told they like it tho. Overall great foundation for oily skin, natural look and light feel expectations. Wouldn't recommend for ladies who need to give fully cover pimples, marks or very dark spots.

I love this. This foundation covers up any and all blemishes, scars, and redness without looking caked on. I'm always afraid to buy new face makeup, fearing that it'll be too thick, or it will irritate my sensitive skin. However, this has easily become my new favorite foundation. I'll be buying this until it discontinues (and I'm hoping it never will). The coloring is perfect. I'm very fair skinned with pink undertones and it's very hard to find a foundation in the right shade. It's very very similar to the online photo, also. Being very fair skinned, I should be using sunscreen every day, but I often forget, or don't want to take the time to add an extra step. This foundation has sunscreen of SPF 20 mixed into it. I love that I can just put on my makeup like normal and have my sensitive skin protected. This product also has concealer mixed in, and I feel like that's what helps keep my skin flawless looking without being too thick. I still want my makeup to look natural, yet cover any imperfections. It's very light and comfortable to wear. The pump sometimes gets a little clogged up if it isn't wiped off after each use, but it's easy to fix with a cotton swab. The glass bottle is very sturdy and has yet to crack or break when dropped. However, because the bottle is glass, it's hard to get the last bit out of the container. I know I have about a few days worth of makeup stuck inside the container, and can't get it out easily. I try to leave the bottle upside down when it starts getting to the last bit, but the makeup sticks to the sides of the inside of the bottle. I try hitting the bottle on the palm of my hand to force the makeup out, but it just ends up with me hurting my palm and very little makeup coming out.
