I've used CoverGirl LashBlast mascara off and on for years and have been very pleased with it. I'm not a big makeup person, but was looking for a way to enhance my lashes for special occasions and ran across a video of someone using a lash primer. I'd never heard of such a product before, but when I saw this two pack from CG, I decided to give it a try. When the product arrived, I had another (non-CG) mascara in use. I tried the CG primer under that mascara and did not care for the results - too clumpy, too flaky. But when I tried the primer with the CG LashBlast mascara, it was a completely different experience - no clumping, no flaking off. And I did see a difference in "lash impact" when using the primer. I don't use it daily, but for dress up occasions, I definitely recommend this, but also recommend using the two sister products together rather than mixing brands. ... show more

Great mascara in terms of coverage/volume and color/waterproof, but every time I tried to use it, I’d get a horrific allergic reaction- my eyes felt itchy/burning and just takes forever to take off at times.
