I have been using this for about 4 years now and I can't get over the volume it gives! It holds my curl ALL DAY! And i have the most stubborn straight short eyelashes ever. But it does have its issues. I have to use waterproof since i have Asian monolids which are always touching some part of my eyelids so non waterproof mascara makes me look like a racoon in an hour. So this does do it's part pretty well...some smudging here and there, but not too much, but in the end...it took a lot to take this stuff off. It also can flake once in a while. And the applicator is super big and can get messy, but all in all, still my go to because of that volume!

Although it is not my absolute favorite, (it does flake a bit), it is a classic go to whenever I am in the hunt for a new mascara and can't seem to find one I like, I return to purchasing this one. I have been using this mascara for nearly 10 years. I get compliments regularly on how great my lashes look and some have asked if my lashes are mine or fake! My only issue is that I have noticed that each tube no longer lasts me my usual 6 weeks, now I have to replace it every 4 weeks. I have it set up on Subscribe and Save so I'll always have it when I'm ready for a new one. I highly recommend doing that since it's also less expensive than buying one tube at a time.

With allergies in my eyes it's been hard to find a truly waterproof mascara that doesn't run with the oils in the skin. Even when sweating it stays better than expected. The only time it runs is if my face is truly oily-in which case I'd hope it would run or I wouldn't be able to remove it. DEFINITELY needs to be taken off at night. Especially when the tube is new because it can create quite a heavy coating.

I want to love this product but the bottom line is, I don't. I was hoping for better lash curl, volume, and hold. However, just because it didn't work for me, doesn't mean that it won't work for you. Loved the brown color though. I just much prefer my natural lash from ColorPop over this one.

Eye on left has falsies on. Right side is only this mascara. L’Oréal volumnous waterproof was my go to for years. Suddenly my eyes started having a reaction to an ingredient. i tried several waterproof brands and still irritated me so I started wearing regular mascara but my lashes wouldn’t hold a curl. It took me a long process of makeup elimination but I finally figured out I think I have a sensitivity to cyclopentosiloxane. This mascara doesn’t have that in it and now I can have sky high curly lashes again! Wish I’d found it sooner! Love love love!!!

Cover Girl is hard to find in the shade brown so when I saw this on Amazon I had to purchase it. I have Hazel eyes and don't care for the contrast of black. Affordable and beautiful color encasemement so I can instantly spot it and apply at a traffic light when my bf is driving. 😊
