I ordered shade 505, a light ivory. I got the wrong shade. I asked for an exchange and there was no problem with that. However, again I got the wrong shade. At this point, I needed some foundation. I am fair-skinned so I wear a heavy sunblock on my face. Cover Girl's Clean Matte line absorbs any shine from the sunblock and never runs off. Even though the foundation I received was too dark for me, it was still a fairly light shade. I ended up using it over the sunblock to absorb any oils from that and then buying another brand in the correct shade to go over the Cover Girl. I have been using this particular liquid foundation for over 10 years now and it's the only one I've found that keeps the oil on my face under control and prevents me from breaking out. I have bought the original version of this product, but that was out of stock so I tried this one instead. It is definitely meant for oily skin, which I do not have. I think the coverage would last longer throughout the day if it was on a more oily skin type. It works ok for me, but usually wears off and my skin starts drying out by the evening, so I would have to re-apply. ... show more
