I'm not using these for a tail light load. I am using these to simulate a load on the front speaker outputs for an aftermarket amplifier input. The Starlink system on my 2022 Subaru BRZ Limited had an error because it thought there was no speakers in the front for it to communicate with the driver in case of emergency. This is common in modern cars with integrated safety and entertainment systems. I had tried several other solutions that kinda worked but the SOS light remained red. I put a pair of these (these came as a pair) in parallel between the Subaru stereo head unit and the Rockford-Fosgate amplifier. Quick test in the garage and the SOS light remained red but rather than wait, I reset the codes using my OBD-II reader and started the car again. Light is green now. I will update if the error codes return. Well the error codes have returned. Time to have an auto stereo shop diagnose this. ... show more

I only just installed these; they solved my hyper flash and dashboard warning issues. I was fortunate to have the perfect mounting location behind the trim piece above the tail lights of my Chrysler Pacifica. It's kind of annoying that the instructions say to screw them into meta but they don't include any screws, just zip ties. I can't speak to longevity but I paid extra for name brand so I hope they last. ... show more

Looked and felt like my cheap off-brand one I have. They do work and seem to be dependable. But, so did my chinese knockoffs for 1/4 the price. Putting a name on it must raised the price. There not a bad producg and will do what they are suppose to just like cheaper no name ones will...

This has worked as advertised about 98% of the time. Since installation, I have seen my light out warning come back twice.It does go away on my next drive, but it's still kind of annoying. I would have also preferred that it came with maybe some self tapping sheet metal screws, since there aren't very many places to ziptie these things the right way. So, yes, it technically does its job, but it could be better for how much they're asking for a piece of copper and some wires. ... show more
