I am truly surprised at the quality of these covers!! I got tired of waiting for Sony to release the black covers, so I finally caved on this - and so glad that I did!! It really is the same ABS material and it is NOT flimsy. It has the same density, weight and quality of the original covers. The finish is a beautiful matte black. Nice cover plates for PS5 Pro. The finish is somewhere between totally flat and gloss black. Perhaps a "satin" finish. The plates are made from sturdy plastic. And give the PS5 a much nicer, sleeker look. I have always preferred black to the white that the PS5 came in. Installing them is easy and quick. I've always disliked the white color on the PS5 plates. Was waiting for these plates to release for the Pro. Super easy to install, can't tell the difference in material quality from this to Sonys plates. Console looks awesome now.
