I don’t like the standard crock that you find everywhere. I was looking for a smaller one that had no complaints of cracking or leaking. This is it! The crock has a great shape! It’s small. It holds a 5 gallon jug perfect and it has a shape that I feel is much more sturdy. I never tried it with the plastic spigot it came with. I just ordered a stainless steel one when I ordered this and it works a dream!!! The only thing I don’t like about it is the logo on the front which does not scrape off. Overall, it is perfect! The media could not be loaded. Serves its purpose. Very nice. I also replaced the plastic water spout for aesthetic purpose. The pot itself is empty and there's no mechanics to it. I've had it since mid July and no spilling or leaking so far. Mines a 3 gallon jug on it.

Has a very nice shape, thick very well made ceramic jug. I use the 3 gal. It was also well packaged. However the plastic faucet is cheaply made so I decided to replace it with a stainless one and it looked perfect. I did not use the wooden stand that came with it.
