I have an 18in laptop that's pretty heavy, lap pads are no go. This is perfect I can take it anywhere, bed, couch, floor and pillows. Materials are nice, arm cushions are not soft (in a good way so arms and table don't sink) overall feels very high quality.

Where do I start? I work from home and the prospect of working from my couch/bed had always interested me. I had been looking for a good option but most seemed too small for my needs. Enter: The Couchmaster CYBOSS I ordered this on a wednesday and it arrived on the friday shortly after. It was overnighted and packed well enough. Keep in mind this is essentially a 3-piece desk. 2 rectangular cushions and one extra large wood desk. The desk was slightly scuffed, I assume it was because I bought a "USED" one at $30 less. The desk had no real signs of being used, this is because the cushions were still vacuum sealed, and the mousepad was not "stuck" to the desk portion yet. The cushions puffed up in 24 hours and have been incredibly sturdy. On the cushions there are plenty of pockets to keep a wireless mouse and other cords, headsets, controller, etc. The desk itself seems to be engineered wood, and has cutouts for cooling, a tablet/phone, cords, and a cupholder. A few gripes about the desk are... the tablet slot is one solid straight cut, not a diagonal cut like you would expect. So your phone/tablet stands straight up, rather than at a slight angle. Annoying but I have other ways to prop up my phone. They do provide an "adapter" for your phone, but the cutout is already so tight it seems pretty pointless. The desk also comes with 3M adhesive grips and a 3M adhesive double sided sticker for adhering tbe mousepad to the desk. The mousepad is plenty large, but the grips for the wrist rests are essentially useless. They are 1mm tall and don't really provide any support. I can already feel myself needing to peel these off in the near future due to my hand catching the lip all the time. The holes for cords are big enough to fit any USB cord through. The whole set up seems almost too big for a normal couch, unless you're working on a deep couch the cushions will likely jut out off the couch about 6-8 inches. Working in bed is absolute heaven but I now see myself on the fast track to becoming one of the chair ridden citizens aboard the Axiom starship from WALL-E. I am 6' and roughly 200 lbs, the working area is plenty big and I could easily add another 100 lbs and still fit within. Not like that is my plan, but you get the idea, it's perfect for larger folk. All in all, great desk, a tad overpriced for what is really just two cushions and an engineered wood desktop. Really awesome and comfortable. You don’t feel any heat from the laptop on your legs. The cup holder is a great addition. Very well thought out and designed. The only thing I wish it had were some straps or something on the ends of the cushions. When I need to get out from under it I push the whole thing away from my body. But when I want to get back in to it, I have to awkwardly pull the cushions back towards me. Some straps on the ends would be helpful. Either way, it’s still really cool and comfortable.     • I Like It, But There is Room for Improvements
I am really enjoying this desk. It's comfortable. Very large. The cushions are great quality and sturdy. I can fit my 14" laptop along with a 14" portable 2nd monitor and my mouse with plenty of mouse space for gaming. There are areas for improvement in design. - Cup holder. I'm sorry but cup holders are trashy/tacky and I don't want to see them on my PC accessorries. I would never use the cup holder on this desk because it feels very unsafe. While the desk is sturdy, it is a lap desk where I could move and spill a drink. Since the target use for this desk is sitting on a coach, most people have an end table for drinks which is a better spot for them. I would much rather this desk not have a cup holder when the space is limited and the idea of resting a cup on this mere inches from a laptop is just asking for an expensive accident. - The vents. Cool idea and I apprectiate that the desk has venilation, but the design makes no sense. The middle is solid which is where most laptop fans sit. The fans in my laptop are right in the middle and are not benefiting at all from the vents. My suggestion would be to cut out a large square hole in the middle of the desk and attach a mesh piece of metal. That would be more universal and would guarantee proper ventalition for all laptop types. - The cut out for a tablet is unusable for every device I've tried sticking in it. It's either too narrow or not long enough. My phone (Samsung S23+) does not fit in the cutout with the phone case on. I don't think any phone or tablet with a case on it is going to fit in the cutout. Also, the cutout should be padded. It is raw wood on the inside of the cutout. If the only device you can fit in this is one without a case, you are absolutely going to scratch it up over time. I would like to see the cut out either larger or gone compeltely. As it stands, it serves me no purpose other than taking up precious desks space. Overall, great desk, but the design could be more thoughtful. ... show more

    • Game changer
First I’d like to point out that I don’t normally write reviews but I love this so much I felt like I needed to. The product is well made and sturdy. I like to use at night for late night gaming sessions. I’m able to be whisper quiet when gaming and picking up and never disturb my sleeping husband who is next to me because of all of the little pockets it has..no more fumbling in the dark for things. I have so much room and this has allowed me to stop slumping over which caused back pain. It’s a little inconvenient to take up the stairs and back down them again but I knew it would be a hassle when I purchased but was willing to work with it and I’m glad I did! It’s totally worth the comfort it has given me. I eventually plan to buy a second so I have one for each floor to prevent the travel issue. Overall it’s an excellent product, be aware that it IS big and will take up significant space. ... show more

Got it for my GF and her laptop gaming set up. BRO THIS THING IS COMFY and PErfect. the vents for cooling w/o pas is smart. soft but strudy cushions. TOP TIER esp. with the pouches on the side.
