I have tried multiple different lap desks and tabletop style desks, even various pillow stacking combos and other creative "desk" variations to try and achieve 1/10 what the Couchmaster delivers with ease. I absolutely love the size of the desktop portion. It flawlessly accommodates my 17" laptop, mouse, 11" iPad, tablet-sized notebook, microfiber cloth for screen wiping, various pens, tv remote, as well as lamp and phone attachments comfortably and with room to move each around and work, without being cluttered. The desktop is very sturdy and is also stylish and sleek. The cord management is ample and top-notch. The iPad/cellphone slip includes a stabilizer in case your tablet or phone wobbles when you insert it, which is a thoughtful inclusion. The leatherette wrist rests are really soft, durable, and stylish. The cushions are the perfect height (I'm a 5'7" female), super soft, easily adjustable, easy to clean, have ample pockets, and hold the desk and everything I load onto it without any sign of distress. The functionality of this desk is just top-notch, next level; if you're asking for more than this desk delivers, you're really asking for too much, because this has it all. It's easy to move around, even fully set up, as you just push the cushion portion forward and basically slide out from inside it, or alternatively slide the desktop portion onto one cushion or the other and you're free. I love that it is three separate pieces because I'm able to clean it more effectively, break it down and store it every night and bring it back out when I'm ready to work/game in the evening, and it makes the largeness of the desk very storage friendly for smaller spaces. I feel this is a good value for the money, you definitely get a high-quality item for your money, and I feel with proper care it will last me for many years. For anyone who spends time gaming/working on the couch or in bed, this is really a lifestyle improvement and a total game changer.
