The media could not be loaded. This memory form mattress is very nice and soft, but also very support. The size is correct which fit my queen size bed perfectly. I had a much thinner one which was also good, but not thick enough. The thicker one (3 inches) I had prior it was also a memory form mattress. It's thick but not soft. I felt sink and stuck in the mattress while sleeping. It prevented me to move which made me more tired in the morning. This one is soft but also supportive that I don't feel like I sink and stuck in the mattress. Huge upgrade for my mattress. I had an older 2" memory foam topper on it before and it did not make the bed comfortable enough. This new mattress topper is great and I really like that it comes with a cover, my old one did not. I would recommend following the directions of letting it air out at least 24hrs. I probably put it on too soon and could smell the topper when I moved around on the bed the first night but didn't notice the smell after that. ... show more

I put this on top of a futon that was a good base, but was just too hard to be comfortable by itself. With the addition of this topper, I now I have a sleep surface that's much more friendly to my back and joints. It isn't puffy soft like some foam toppers are. Instead, it has a pleasant combination of give and sink that takes away the rock hardness of the surface beneath it. It also recovers quickly, so when you change position, that divot you think your hip, shoulder, or backside is leaving springs back up within 30 seconds, leaving the topper smooth again. The topper does exactly what it says. It's thick enough for a heavy set gal like me to sleep comfortably on it all night. I personally wish it was a bit cooler than it is as I sleep abnormally hot, but it is still much cooler than the old memory foam mattress I replaced. We are living in the bush of Alaska for a few years in housing provided for teachers by the school district. The housing came with beds, and the mattress weren't comfortable. After a month of poor sleep. we decided to purchase mattress toppers since our stay here is temporary and what ever we purchase will be left behind. Not as comfortable as the Intelli Gel mattress we left at home, we sink into the foam more than we're used to, but now we sleep through the night without tossing and turning.
