I had surgery on my shoulder so I sleep sitting up. This is really great for that. I tried laying down on it. It's a little too soft so it was difficult but it does slide to the side a lot going down off the bed but other than that it's pretty nice

    • The first night I tried it was amazing!!
I received the mattress topper and immediately removed it from the very small packaging it arrived in, with the tool the company included to open the plastic wrap. I let it settle and air out for 72 hours before putting on my current mattress. The first night I slept on it, I was in heaven. All of my lower back pain was gone and it was so comfortable I did not want to get out of bed. The next few nights were not as heavenly, although still much more comfortable than my existing mattress. There is definitely an "odor" with the topper. I read another review where someone took the removable cover off and washed it prior to using, which they said helped with the odor. I my try that when I have some time to remove and wash it.     • Makes our old mattress feel new again.
I really like this mattress topper. The only complaint I have is that it slides. Every morning when making the bed, I have to readjust it. I wish it had corner elastic to hold it in place.

    • Little more work to get the initial smell out. On the Firm side
I'm used to memory foam having to be aired out, but since this one is enclosed in a mattress cover, you'll want to be sure to remove the cover to allow the mattress to really expand and air out. I also washed the cover since it contained a strong smell as well. After doing that, I found the mattress topper to be an actual 3" depth, and on the 'Firm' side of comfort. Not bad, just not the super 'sink in' I've experience with other mattress covers. I'm happy with the comfort level and it really helps me as a side sleeper. I also like how the cover with it's bottom design helps keep the pad in place on your mattress, and provides a natural smooth mattress feeling as it contacts the sheets. ... show more

For the price it's not that bad. It's better than sleeping on a hard couch so I'll give it props for that. It's more comfortable than I thought and my kids like it so it's good.

Very comfortable but does NOT stay on bed. By morning it has shifted off the bed by at least 4 inches. Double sided tape can’t hold it in place. Fitted mattress protector and sheet can’t stop it. Resorted to duct tape a few inches from top and bottom and taped it to bed which just caused the middle to slide off bed. Comfort is the only plus. ... show more

    • Fixed an uncomfortable mattress
Our mattress has been giving me issues for a couple of months. It is rented while we are on a temporary year long assignment. It is not feasible to buy a new mattress, but I was tired of waking up with a sore back everyday.
