This set works perfectly for our camping/outdoor needs. The steel is thick meaning your hands don't get burned when you put hot food or liquid in these containers. They're very easy to clean and can be placed directly on open fire if need be. The only thing is that it was supposed to come with a rope with the bucket but we didn't receive it. We contacted the seller but the response is slow and the rope was never sent to us.

This is a nice and compact dishware set. I’d have given it 5 stars except for a few things: 1. One of the larger dishes came dented! Not cool for a brand new set. 2. One of the bowls had a tarnished spot on the inside. Again, not expected on a new set. 3. The larger plates came with product stickers, and NOT the type that come off easy! TIP!: Buy some Goo Gone and rub a bit on the sticky glue after peeling off as much sticker as you can. Soak for a minute or two, then gently rub with finger to remove sticky residue. The dishes are more “shallow bowls” which could be a pro or a con. Just thought I’d share. Clearly made in China, as the metal is embossed with Chinese lettering. It is obvious/conspicuous, which may be of concern if you serve friends that are critical of that kinda stuff. The water bucket thing is kinda cool. You twist it about a quarter turn to expand/collapse, and all this cookware fits nicely in about half the space of the bucket, so perhaps you can add a few things to it. The bucket also has a string with a handle on the end. I suppose this is to draw water. Great little “survival” gear item. The Mil thickness of the metal is not substantial, so durability long term is questionable. It DID arrive new and already dented, after all. But with the thinness of the metal comes light weight. This may be a great addition to backpacking gear. Overall, I’m good with this purchase and will not return it for its defects/shortcomings, but I did want to share with those considering this set.

I am more than impressed with these dishes. I bought this for my wife's birthday and used it the very next weekend on our camping trip. These are sturdy plates, bowls and cups that hold up to the challenge. They are very easy to clean and stack neatly in the bucket they come in. The bucket is also very handy because you are able to transport water in the bucket to clean up. Very highly recommended! I gave these 5 stars because of how easy clean up is with these and how nice they look!

These are a little heavy for hiking but for a packing in on horse or 4 wheeling they are sturdy and easy to clean cups are a little small but semi insulated. The bowls and plates are nicely sized.

I got rid of my microwave and switched to a small toaster oven because I enjoy the quality of cooking it offers more, which also meant picking up this set of metal ware so I can cook things in the toaster without worrying about it. They are great for that. They clean quick too. I like the size although they are smaller than an American set of dishes, that works for me just fine.

We replaced paper plates while camping with this wonderful set. I absolutely love the two different sized plates and bowls. With 4 adults and 2 children, we had the perfect number of plates and bowls. The only down side was the cups. The retain a very metallic smell, even after washing a number of times. I replaced them in the kit with another option. The carrying bag is awesome! I'll be ordering another kit for trips with more people.
