These definitely did the trick. I wanted something to go on my stairs to add to the overall look I was going for (country/cottage), so I thought these would be a great addition. I love them! I got them for the aesthetics, but I see and feel a clear difference when walking up and down the stairs. The technical info: there are 15 in a pack plus one for a landing. I did read the reviews, so I bought carpet tape and applied it to each tread so that they wouldn’t move. It did take sight my longer to install than I thought, but that had more to do with how I was cutting the carpet tape and finagling the treads on my angled stairs. I’ve had them on for a couple of weeks and they haven’t moved. I’m glad I bought them—just be sure to look at the instructions before you install them.

I've ordered three sets of these (one was in error). They are well made, trim edges, consistent print. They don't adhere well to wooden stairs on their own, but they do the best they can. I cannot use adhesive as I am a renter...but will try cutting up rug pads. I've ordered other such sets in the past- the bonus on this item is the large square rug for the landing. Genius! The downer tho, is the packaging. Why oh why send in a little square box? They don't lay flat...can't be ironed...don't own a steamer. So, we wait. It's a hazard unfortunately which is ironic when purchasing for safety.

These stair treads are a great find. They not only look nice they keep the noise down on the stairs. I especially liked the different designs as there is quite a selection to choose from. I chose a pattern so as to not show marks from shoes and such.

They look a bit too cheap. Very thin. They do help from slipping on the stairs. I like the pattern. The colors are as shown, which is nice. But I would not buy them again.

Arrived rolled up so that they would NOT lay flat when put on stairs (ends were all flapping up no matter how much I rolled the opposite the direction). Waited a day to let gravity try and do the trick. Still looked tacky and cheap. Like real crumby. The $30 low budget ribbed ones look nicer. As for the utility of it, they were slipping off the stairs so often that I was asked by company I had over if I would remove them because they felt it was a hazard for their kids. They were absolutely right. Total and absolute trash. Any 5 star reviews are obviously manufactured. I never write reviews and felt compelled to do this so that I might save a handful of people the headache. So happy I can return them. NOT AS DESCRIBED!!!

Great purchase! Makes it less treacherous for my 10 year old lab (and 80 year old in-laws) to maneuver the stairs! Also, love the golden- olive color! Even though they have a rubber backing, I purchased rug tape to make sure they stay in place. Love them!
