My son got this for Christmas and he loves riding in it. He still hasn’t quite figured out how to drive it on his own so the remote is very handy. The controls on the remote are very simple. At times I find it difficult to keep the truck going in a straight line but overall I do find the remote is easy to operate. The truck was relatively easy to assemble. I remember having a bit of a hard time with assembling the wiring just based on written directions however there was an accompanied installation video that explained it better for me. We have had one incident where my son has pinched his arm while operating the dump truck but he was not hurt. I try to pay extra attention to where hands and fingers are when he operates that part of the toy. We have not yet run out of battery life on a walk or while my son has been playing with it. There is a nifty little indicator on the truck about how much voltage the battery has. We have run it down to 9 volts and the truck still operates but you can tell it is not operating at full capacity. It definitely takes awhile to fully charge the battery so we do try to charge it after every use. Overall we are super happy with the purchase and hope it will last him a couple years of play!

I bought this ride on toy for my two Grandsons to have at my house. My 3 year old loves it. The 1 year old is hesitant but no fault of toy. Easy Assembly and hours of good use. The instructions good have included more description of where to hook all the wires. I would buy it again.

I wouldnt even give it one star but had no choice but to. We tried getting our money back but never got a response because it was leaking a fluid. It never lasted more than 15 mins of playtime with a full charge. It now does not work at all and it was bought in December. We would highly not recommend buying this. A Waste of money! We spent almost $400 on another dump truck toy and wanted to go a cheaper route but that $400 dump truck is still going strong. I would say you get what you pay for but I feel we didn't even get that.
