I got this microwave because I wanted a microwave that was cute and matched my teal kitchen, as I don't currently have one installed in my new kitchen. This option was the largest and most powerful teal microwave that I could find on amazon. It is still less powerful than my last microwave so I think it will take some getting used to when setting times. The cook times are adjusted by the lower knob and are increased or decreased in 10-second increments. It is easy to bump up or down the time even while the microwave is running. The longest you can go is 60 minutes. But I have never used a microwave for that long, so not sure why you would need to go higher. As other reviewers have said, the microwave will continue to beep if you do not remove the plate. But it does not bother me as it is only every 3 minutes. I've had microwaves that do it much more frequently, so 3 minutes is a long break between beeps. This includes when you remove the plate early. So if you want it to stop, hit the cancel/clear button. It includes most of the same features as a typical microwave. There are no preset buttons (i.e. for defrost or popcorn etc.) But there is an Auto Cooking selection on the knob, which includes options for popcorn, Reheat, Beverage, Pizza, Potato, Vegetable, Meat, and Fish. And you can turn the knob to 3 different power levels and defrost by weight. There is also a speed cooking option which says it wets the microwave to "high fire" But I don't know the difference between that and setting the microwave on high. The internal measurements are 11 inches by 13 inches. It is large enough to fit my biggest plate which measures 10.5 inches, which I was worried about when I ordered it. The exterior length is 19.5 inches. It will sit away from the wall about 1.5 inches and the total width from the wall to the tip of the handle is about 15 inches. The height from the countertop is 11.5 inches. Overall, it is a cute countertop microwave that is doing what a microwave should do.

This microwave is the perfect size and wattage to go in my son's dorm room next fall. A few weeks ago, we got all of the dorm dimensions and this is going to fit perfectly in his kitchenette area. The space saving dimensions will still allow them to have some countertop space. Right now, he's using it in his makeshift office in the basement. He's been studying constantly for midterms, so it's nice for him to be able to pop in a bag of popcorn or warm up his dinner without having to go all of the way upstairs. The retro look is what initially drew me to this model, but I also liked the minimalistic design. The dials versus buttons intrigued me. I've never had one with dials, so I wasn't sure how it would measure up. I've been pleasantly surprised with how easy it is to use. You have 5 power levels to choose from: Defrost, M.Low (40% power-360W), M.High (80% power-720W), High (100% power-900W) and Speed Cooking. There are also default cooking settings for the more popular things to make, like popcorn and pizza. It's going to be perfect for college boys. Even though the wattage is lower, this is still a powerful little unit. The 10 1/2 inch glass rotating turntable works very well at making sure that everything is evenly cooked. It's also extremely easy to remove for cleaning. Overall, I'm extremely happy with this microwave and highly recommend it for smaller spaces and dorms.

I'm giving the 5 stars not only for the microwave itself, but for the customer service as well. So happened, the microwave was dead on arrival. Nothing has worked, not even a light. I contacted the customer service and they send a replacement within just few days. The new microwave works perfectly well. I love the retro look, the color (mint green which maches my pantry cabinet paint color) and it works quieter than my old microwave. It heats up the food quite quickly, I don't see any difference, even though my previous microwave was a 1000Watt. It is very easy to use with one push of the start/ add time button (or you can choose more advance options if you'd like) and it's easy to clean. It is smaller than my previous one, but still fitting my not-so-small dinner plate or a medium size casserole dish. The only downside is the triple sound bip it makes after finishing heating and every minute after that if you don't open the door. Quite annoying and there is no option to turn it of, but I knew that from previous reviews. Usually, I turn it off before the timer is done and don't let my toddler's nap to be disrupted and save my sensitive ears. A great purchase in general.

This is my THIRD TRY to write something. After that I'll be so mad I'll lower the rating to ONE star! It's gorgeous, with a chrome handle like a '55 Buick. It's a nice, firm close that makes a nice sound. Not tinny or cheap. It's GORGEOUS, a soft green much prettier than Costway's photo. I heated up dinner 3 minutes faster, which is great. BUT... That dang 3 beeps, then 3 beeps every 3 minutes. WHY? It's not dangerous! It's no longer RUNNING! I've gone to do something else or LIE DOWN! I'm disabled. I'll get back up when I WANT to...not when that beeping has driven me insane! Please! Why do they want to drive customers out of their minds with this horrible feature? I'm going to try to find out if it can be disabled. I researched for a whole MONTH, and thought this one didn't DO THAT. I was obviously confused. Grrrrr. The ONE THING I DID NOT WANT. I'll write an update if I can get it changed. I'm too old and crippled to even try to return this. UPDATE: After three or four days I must say that the cheery color, simple DIAL. Feature, and the powerful wattage has really made me happy. It's just so cute I can hardly STAND it. So if I can't find out how to deprogrammed the extra beeping, I like it so much I might get over it. Another feature - IT IS REALLY QUIET! My 700w Nostalgia was much louder, much as I loved it. This one practically WHISPERS, the motor is so quiet. And hears things up in half the time. And look at my photo...it's so pretty! And no logo or anything sticking out on it anywhere. Smooth as silk.

9/22/20 New edit: trying to return this product is a nightmare. They want a video of your NON WORKING microwave in order to try to trouble shoot.—-a microwave that won’t even power up. They barely respond to any correspondence and send emails in the middle of the night that they expect immediate response to.. I filed a claim with Amazon and was told by the seller that they would refund my money but only after removing the complaint. I’ve removed the complaint and will report back in this review as to how long it takes the seller to actually refund my money. Edit: DO NOT BUY THIS!!! we’ve had this microwave JUST over a month, conveniently past the return date by a few days, and it’s started making this horrid sound in the mechanism that turns the table. DO NOT BUY! There’s no returning it at this point and I’m stuck with an overpriced piece of junk I’ll be selling in my next yard sale for $10. You’re better off buying a better machine from a local retailer with a longer return policy. OG review.: Very cute compact microwave. The black and copper is really sophisticated looking, but this thing is weird to use. The buttons are NOT easy to get the hang of and I don't like the idea of having to read the manual every time I want to microwave something.

I was looking for a smallest microwave that is not expensive and doesn't look 'plastic/cheap' on the counter, available in shiny black w chrome accents to match my stuffs. I've only had this one for a couple of months but i'm pretty happy with it so far. This thing is cute, small footprint on the counter, lighter weight, has a vintage look (there are more vintagy looking ones out there, but they for some reason are not black, or have worse reviews), works fine, fits a plate, heats food. The way you set the time is weird at first, but becomes natural really quickly. Push the Instant Start, it puts on 1 minute and starts going, if you want more or less time, twist the big knob to increase or decrease time (clockwise =increase).. Piece of cake, becomes really intuitive. I really have not touched any other buttons on it bc this works fine for me. This is not constructed to live decades, nor should it for 80-some bucks, but it is cute and it is fine.

We just received our Costway 0.9 cu ft Microwave. We love the simplicity of the microwave, it's easy to use and offers the following important performance features: 1) It's fairly quiet when running. 2) Has great capacity but takes up minimal counterspace. 3) fits our 11.5 inch plates with a little room to spare. 4) Re-beeps after a few minutes if you forget to remove a heated item. 5) heats up foods quickly when on high setting. 6) has a great retro look. One final point, the door requires a little extra force when pulling open which can cause the unit to slide on your counter, we put a piece of cupboard lining under the microwave feet to stabilize. I have had the microwave for about a month and it randomly makes a pulsing alarm sound at a low volume but enough to hear, so annoying, reclassify to a 3 star.

I really loved this little microwave when it came in and it worked well for a while, until my son put a bag of microwavable popcorn in it last week and set it for 2 minutes and he heard a weird explosion. The glass plate actually broke in two! We can't figure out what happened but now we're a little afraid to use it. I put the old microwave's plate in it and it fits fine. If anyone else has experienced this, I'd really like to hear about it. We currently just heat small items up now and will probably replace it soon, which is a shame because A. it's expensive, and B. it's REALLY adorable. I didn't contact the seller, I'll do that next.
