    • Good value with some concerns
Looks great. One rocks back and forth, but it’s possible that is due to my error when constructing the stools. Assembly was not that easy as my pieces were not labeled. I am concerned that the cushions will flatten down and / or get destroyed early from constant use.

The media could not be loaded. Stools are absolutely perfect!! They are exactly what I was looking for. Excuse the mess in my video (middle of a renovation) but you can really see what great quality these stools are. I am impressed with the craftsman shift of these stools. Currently that middle portion part of my video will be a standard sized island. The cabinets are shorter now but the height of the island will be higher when the quartz is put on top!! I love these great quality, fast shipping & they were so easy to put together. They would be ideal for a kitchen island ( like mine), a small table or a kitchen nook. I would definitely recommend. If you are over 180 pounds and are intending these to be safe for guests over 180 pounds..., STOP. This is not the stool for you. We had shopped around for a bit and could not decide on a stool to purchase but needed something, so we bought these thinking that they could last us a year or two until we made up our minds on something else. Well, in less than a month into the purchase, we had guests over and one was sitting on the stool. Thankfully he didn't hurt himself, but the leg gave way (see pictures) and he managed to catch himself on the wall before hitting the floor. He is 200 pounds. I am 175 and even I have to be mindful of how I sit on these as they are very unsturdy and you can feel them waver every time you move. The thing is, there was an obvious manufacturing defect in the product. The leg split right at a fracture on the leg. You can see where the stain bled through during the manufacturing process. Makes me wonder how it passed quality check, Hopefully they will replace the item. Even without that consideration, the padding material is already beginning to break down. It is a very cheap foam and only modestly recovers its shape after even the first use. I should have known better, but couldn't pass them up on the price. Asking them to replace the broken stool and will update review if the company is responsive to an obvious manufacturing defect. Remember, you get what you pay for! 6/1/2020 UPDATE - They did get back to me and at first offered to refund me $50 for the stool that was faulty. After explaining that I need 4 stools for my bar and I didn't want to have to purchase 2 (they come in a set), they sent out a replacement set. I also went back and tightened every leg bolt to ensure that they were firmly assembled as best I am able. Tightening the leg bolts did make them feel a bit more sturdy, so I am a bit happier then when I first purchased these stools, however I stand by what I said earlier in that you get what you pay for. These are not a stool that one should plan on having for more than one or two years. One of the original stools that I have has already started to tear at one of the seat seams. They are a $50 stool and you shoudl expect to get a $50 stool. Final review, they look nice at the bar. They will need regular retightening to keep them viable. Expect 1-2 years of use. I wanted to love these, and I did until in under less than a month I needed to retighten the bolts. Now my chair legs are broken. Also, my first package had a chair leg that didn’t have the screw hole. And while the seller sent me a new part, that was a bummer waiting. But now, I have broken chairs and money wasted. If you want something decorative, then these are great. They just aren’t functional for everyday use. ... show more

    • Sturdy stools
I like the sturdiness and attractiveness of these stools. Very good buy for the money. Made sure all the screws were pretty tight, especially the lower crossbars--if those aren't tight the wiggling will loosen the screws on the seat. Doesn't creak or wobble at all.

I like the esthetic because it fits my decor. But you have to be real careful when sitting becauce the chairs slide out from under you and they are not comfortable.

I really wanted to like these. The design is nice but they are not for everyday use. I’ve had them for about 2 months and they already look terrible. So disappointed and now I’m stuck with them. The fabric is poor and collects dirt and stains. The cushion is already collapsing. I know the price point is attractive but consider paying more for a better product. ... show more
