The media could not be loaded. I always clean my indoor full-sized washer and dryer after washing my garage towels. I looked for a dryer for my new portable washer, smaller and easy to hook up outside. I found this dryer with a good design and good specs, and I had to get one of these. I was not disappointed; this one has worked out great. First off, very easy to set up and use. I like how all I had to do was just plug it in, and since it was outdoors, there were no vents to connect. Secondly, it works great. I like the ease of the controls. I pressed the HIGH button and set it for 30 minutes, put in 12 wet shop towels, and they were dry after that 30 minutes. Lastly, I really like how light this one is. I have actually taken this one on camping trips, uses very little power and worked out great, and is very easy to carry too. I purchased this back in 2022 along with a washer. It fits perfectly on my cruiser and it does an excellent job on drying my clothes. I purchased the vent kit with a lint box and a micro filter. I can dry 1 pair of jeans or 2 polo shirts. So, you can figure out the size of what the dryer can do efficiently by this. It normally takes 2 drying cycles but that is so much better than going to a laundromat every week. I highly recommend this for people with minimal space. ... show more

Everyone says It’s a small unit. Yeah well you k we that going in. I have lived part time for my work in my rv for years. I have used many different types of washers and dryers. I had to replace my Rv recently and I just purchase a small 18ft Coleman this time. You have to be creative on the hookups but mine vents through the floor. The little black and decker washer will wash one complete set of clothes at a time. (Fat man clothes to include heavy work pant or jeans). It handles the load fine and drys them in about an hour to and hour and a half. I pull them out and put them away. What more should I need from it? Put them in from the washer and take them out dry. It’s a 110 volt tiny unit, yes longer than a standard dryer but if that’s your comparison then head off to the laundry mat. Ok the bad. Keep the filter clean or you will double your time. There was a rattle coming from it like something was loose. Took the back panel off to find the clear or gummy type belt has no guides and it was periodically slapping the frame and was the source of my rattle which I’m sure would cause it to fail over time. Took a piece of plastic from an empty laundry jug and cut it into a square about the size of a cigarette pack. Glued it onto the frame where the belt contacted it and covered that with two layers of gorilla tape. No more rattle and that repair was two months ago. The factory obviously knew about this as they had glued a very thin piece of foam where the belt contacted the frame but it is so small and thin of a piece that the belt eats it off in just a few uses. A small plastic belt guide should have been used It’s only 850 wats so I have no issue running the dryer and the microwave at the same time on a 30 amp. ... show more

    • Great little dryer, but FEELING RIPPED OFF

EDITING THE REVIEW: After reading other reviews showing the sticker on the side stating it's a 5.5 pound capacity dryer, I decided to check the sticker on the side of mine. Sure enough, it states 5.5 lb. capacity. WTF?!?! I didn't PAY for a 5.5 pound capacity dryer I paid for a 10 pound capacity dryer. So is Costway ripping people off, or are they just putting the wrong stickers on the product. There is NO indication in ANY of the Amazon product listing page that indicates this is NOT a 10 lb. dryer. It's what I thought I was getting and it's certainly what I PAID FOR. I will be filing a complaint with both Costway AND Amazon. If neither one makes it right, I'll pursue legal redress. This is simply fraud on the part of Costway. That said, as other reviewers have said, this is a 110v dryer that will take at least 2 hours for you to dry heavy clothes in them such as a pair of jeans, or heavy shirts. However, if you're drying things like undies, socks, Tee shirts or dish/tea towels, they will take much less time. If you look at the dial, you'll see that the really hot temps are up around the 120 minute mark, while warmer temps are from about 20 minutes and up. That said, you need to put clothes in here that have been spun as dry as they can be. So, if your small washer has a spin dryer, use it. If not, get one and transfer the clothes to it and use this as a "finish" dryer. The less wet the clothes are, the faster they'll dry. My system is an 8 pound washer w/spin dry and a 13 pound spin dryer. I take the clothes from the washer after it's spun them dry and put them into the spin dryer for a 5 minute further spin. Then I throw them into this dryer for final drying. Whole process takes about 2 hours total. As for venting, it's not really needed. It comes with an angle pipe piece that fits over the vent in the back, and you can attach a regular dryer vent hose to it, but it really isn't needed. Unless you turn it up to the 2 hour mark, the heat coming out isn't all that hot. I love it quite frankly. It's also perfect for a small space, or if you're in a house or apartment, you can use it to supplement your full size dryer. I'm in an RV and it's a perfect size for this place. Right now I have it outside, but only because I haven't cleared a space yet to it to come inside. But, I've got at least 3 places I can place it once I get them cleared up. ... show more
