    • bike is fine but no way to install kickstand

The bike was good, seems to be of decent quality but there are 2 issues... I got the 16 inch bike and it comes with training wheels and a kickstand. My grandson doesn't need the training wheels so we needed to install the kickstand. There are no instructions for installing the kickstand - at all. Not in the video nor the written instructions. There doesn't seem to be a way to install it, we have tried every way we can think and I don't see anywhere on the bike that it can be installed. The written instructions were terrible, but the video instructions were pretty good... Just they completely flubbed the kickstand. ... show more

My husband (a retired mechanical engineer) assembled the bike as instructed. He began inflating the rear tire was only at about half the recommended PSI printed on the tire when the inner tube exploded. Not only do we now need to purchase a replacement inner tube, my husband will have to disassemble the back of the bike (including removing the training wheels) just to get to the tire to replace the inner tube. The rubber tire was damaged when the inner tube exploded so it also has to be replaced. WE ARE FRUSTRATED AND DISAPPOINTED! ... show more

This bike is beautiful and great quality; however, the directions were terrible! some of the screws on the handle bars were upside down and took us awhile to figure out the correct way. One of the directions said “attach brake to handlebar” and that’s it- it will take you tube instruction to figure out how to adjust the breaks if you don’t know bikes. The water bottle holder touches the rear wheel if the seat is in the lowest position. My daughter is tiny so we are unable to use it until she is taller. I still can’t figure out the kickstand. It seems to be jammed. The thick tires are nice and stable- my 5 year old went straight from a balance bike to riding this on her own without training wheels in 5 minutes! Very nice and I’d purchase again despite the terrible instructions and unusable accessories ... show more
