Rubber components on frame fail after 2 years

I’ve now owned two pairs of Costa Spearo sunglasses over the past ~5 years, and unfortunately both developed the exact same issue: the rubber on the temple tips (the part that sits behind your ears) separates and pulls out from the frame. That’s disappointing because I really like these sunglasses. The fit is great and the lenses are excellent — it’s why I bought the same model twice. But having the same failure happen on multiple pairs suggests this isn’t just normal wear and tear. For context, I’m in North Texas and use them in typical outdoor conditions — nothing extreme. If Costa offered replacement parts or had updated the design, I’d happily keep buying them. But without a more durable solution, I’ll likely look at other brands next time. Great lenses, but durability of the rubber components has been a consistent issue for me.
