I love these. They are light weight and hold your head without squeezeing it or cutting into it like other sport glasses do. I can wear these all day without getting the behind the ear soreness of them gripping. The blue color does not translate in your viewing. They are perfect to wear in both bright light or on a rainy day. I wear them when it rains as it cuts the glare. These are really polarized. Not some cheap knock off that says they are but aren't. I wear them as the sun is coming up and can drive into the sunrise without any issues. So... no matter what anyone says, you cannot buy a knock off of these on some Asian website. These sunglasses are quality lenses and qualty comfortable and soft frames. I tried the knock offs and they are junk and not worth the $6 they cost. These are as good as my Maui Jims ($170). I have purchased a second pair of these to have ready to go and replace the ones I lose. I recommend them....

Ballast offers great UV protection, are incredibly lightweight, fit nicely and are extremely comfortable. Due to their minimalistic design, they could be damaged more easily than the CDM heavy duty styles if you are rough on your sunglasses. I somehow cracked the bridge connection point on one of my Ballast pair. (I don’t put them on the top of my head, behind my neck or other—basically on my face or in the case). I reached out to Luxottica, who owns CDM, about repair. After following all their instructions, my cracked Ballast were replaced under warranty. I found them to have great customer service. I’m well pleased with my purchases from CDM and Amazon.

They are awesome, it's difficult to find a pair that fit a smaller face. These are lightweight and incredible quality! Clarity, cool high end😎 lenses, and so comfortable. I forget I have mine sometimes. They're comfortable to the Maui Jims I left on the golf course😪 at a much better price🤑

After my long favorite polarized Revo sunglasses broke (someone sat on them!), I started looking for a replacement on Amazon. I could not find the same Revo's I previously owned (purchased years ago), and was admittedly hit with sticker shock (even on Amazon). So I broadened my search and eventually tried 3 pairs from Amazon (and 4 from other outlets), ranging in price from $20 to $200+. Each pair, however, was disappointing either with the fit/feel, quality/construction, or optics. I was beginning to think I'd have to settle for something less than the pair I was replacing. Until I stumbled across these. At just over $100, they're in the sweet spot for price/value, construction, apparent quality, and optics. And lastly, if not most importantly, how did they look on me? Many of the others were too broad across my face or the lens was too big (height) - but not the Costa Del Mar Ballast. They are the perfect proportion for my face. And even though, it's a leap of faith to buy sunglasses online without trying them on first, if you're finding that other ones seem to be wearing you (they become the dominate feature on your face when you put them on), I'd highly recommend you give these a try.

Absolute garbage, do not buy any of their products. I really liked how they look on me but they might as well be made of Balsawood. They broke soon after I got them and the company basically gave me a “so what“. So what is that I will never buy anything from them again.
