This latest model was just released and it checked all the boxes for me. The size, functions, and looks are great. For those wondering, the outside measurements are: 17"W x 15"D x 12.5H. The interior measurements are: 15'W x 13"D x 8.75" H. It will fit a 9x13 pan without the lip around it. It's perfect right? WRONG! Toast setting: Horrible results. A single piece of toast takes over 9 minutes. Way longer than my previous Breville toaster oven which I thought took a long time too...at least the toast came out perfect with that machine. Even after 9 minutes the toast wasn't evenly done. Weird. Airfry setting: Horrible results. My Tyson chicken strips took as long as my big oven to cook. And, it needs to preheat first. And the final product left the inside undercooked with the outside crispy (almost burned). I know from my previous air fryer that there's a learning curve but after several attempts at adjusting the temperature setting and time...it still failed the test. Baking: I made a batch of homemade choc chip cookies. They all came out different with some under-done and others almost burned on the bottom. I use a measured cookie scoop so they were all identical in size. Air baking: After the fail on baking, I tried the air-bake setting which is basically convection bake. The cookies came out with brown and light spots all over the top of them. They looked really weird and some were more baked inside than others. Lastly, the other thing that annoyed me...I'm right handed, and the handle portion of this toaster/air fryer is on the left side. I kept trying to grab the right side without thinking and would accidently touch the settings and mess them up. It isn't a deal breaker but it's weird that they would make the handle this way when the majority of the population is right handed. Overall, I REALLY wish I could recommend the CERAMIC version of this toaster/air fryer but I can't. Now I'm back to doing a ton more research to find another option. Air fryers have gained quite a bit of popularity in the last few years and have made their way into many kitchens around the world. If you are looking to get your first air fryer, or are looking to upgrade, I can highly recommend the Cosori air fryer oven. The air fryer function of this oven does a great job of making "fried" items with little to no oil at all. Obviously, this makes these types of foods healthier than their fried counterparts. One downfall of most air fryers is that they cook the outside of food rapidly while leaving the insides undone. For example, if you put a frozen burrito in an air fryer to get a chimichanga, you often get a nice crispy outer tortilla with a still frozen filling. Where the Cosori air fryer oven excels is that you air fry at the same time you heat like a conventional oven. This allows you to thoroughly cook items on the inside while obtaining a crispy exterior without burning. This oven allows you to combine air frying with standard bake and roast features. The oven has ceramic heating elements in the bottom, back and top of the oven. These are similar to flat ceramic top stoves. This provides pretty even heating. Additionally, it makes for a super easy cleanup as you can directly wipe off the heating element as it is a flat surface. The front glass door is also easy to clean as there are no ridges or crevices on the door. The whole oven can be quickly wiped out with damp rag after it cools. The oven comes with an air frying basket, standard oven rack, roasting pan and a drip pan. Currently, I haven't seen additional frying baskets or racks being offered for sale from Cosori. I hope that this changes. The oven has a dehydrator function that really requires the use of the air fryer basket so that food doesn't fall through. Since the oven only ships with one air fryer basket, I feel that this makes the dehydrator function pretty useless. I would like to be able to purchase at least 2 additional air frying baskets. You could get up to four air fryer baskets into the oven. After using the oven for several weeks now, there are only two negative things I can find to mention. The first thing that is somewhat annoying is that the controls are mounted to the door handle. It is feels kind of strange to use at first, but I have gotten used to it now. The most disappointing thing that I have found is the quality of the drip pan. The drip pan has a non-stick coating that is not very resilient. I baked a cobbler that spilled over, and the spilled cobbler actually removed the non-stick coating on the drip pan. I fear that as easily as this coating came off, that the coating could become airborne and contaminate food during normal cooking. This was really disappointing to see given how well the build quality is in the rest of the oven. I have used the oven to broil and bake goods and I have been extremely pleased with the performance. The oven was really nice to use during the hot summer months when you don't want to heat the entire house up using your large oven. Overall, I love this oven and highly recommend it. If it wasn't for the poor quality of the included drip pan, I would have rated this oven a solid 5 stars. Unfortunately, the poor quality of the non-stick coating on this pan cost the oven a star. ... show more
