I‘ve been using this product for at least 14 years now. I had a horrific shoulder injury and started taking a joint supplement from a different brand right after surgery. I attended a veterinary conference where the company had a DVM who presented research on their dog product and received a coupon for a free bottle of their human product. A friend also gave me hers as she didn’t use it - so I used it for 2 months then went back to my old standard because the price on this was higher. Within 2 days I could tell a HUGE difference. I don’t have any plans to change or go without this again. I typically have been purchasing the 90 count bottle at a brick & mortar when they have a BOGO but those are very sporadic and I would often miss them. I was recommended this product by a friend a few years ago. I took the supplement as prescribed, 3 pills a day. It really worked!! Within a month, my pain went away in both elbows. I then stop taking the supplement. After a couple of months, I noticed the pain starting to creep up on me again. I decided to take 1 pill a day and the pain quickly went away. I have ole Arthur Ritus in my neck. He is one mean rascal. I tried many products that did not help. An othopedic surgeon told me that Cosamin ASU had dramatically improved 80% of his patients that had Arthur in their neck. I tried Cosamin DS and it was worthless, but the Cosamin ASU relieved much of my pain after about three weeks. I started off with 4 pills a day for 1 month, then 3 a day for next month. I now take 2 pills a day. When I come off the ASU, within 5 days my pain is so bad I cannot move my neck at all. Using ASU, I can move my neck like an owl. I started 7 years ago using ASU and have been pain free ever since. My orthopedic surgeon told me that there are many supplements that work for ole Arthur. One has to keep trying until the right one is found. It sometimes takes 30 to 60 days for ASU to get into your system. Try it for 60 days. If it doesn't work for you, keep researching and trying other products. Pharmaceutical pills are nothing but rat poison. All Arthur Ritus prescription medicine has terrible side effects. Update: stopped working after 3 months. The pain is back and my knees are back to popping when i walk. Been taking it for 3 months. Started to work month one. My knees are no longer stiff when I stand after sitting for a long time. The popping sound is gone when I walk. Wish it worked on my hip!!
