Its not true to size. I wear a size 7 and the boots came in a size smaller. I'm giving it 5 stars because of 2 reasons...one- its merrells and two-I was able to gift them over to my mother for mothers day...and she loves them

I can't even express how much I love these boots. They are crazy comfortable. In fact, I'm going to order another pair to put aside for when these eventually wear out. I've had rheumatoid arthritis for over 43 years and my feet are a mess but these feel so wonderful! Nice and wide for damaged feet. Soft on the ankles too.

Ok so I bought 3 pairs of shoes to replace old merrells.. I have had moab 2 and 3s and a few other types I don't remember NGL. But usually moabs. So these were cheap. I got a Moab, yokota 2 and accentor 3. My moabs slid on like a tight glove... Excellent support, hard sole hiking shoe with comfort. Next I tried the yokota pretty similar, less padding. Sole still firm and fit is a little looser all around. Ok. It's for winter so that is good for me. Thicker socks Last was these. The accentor 3... Ok definitely larger inside. Absolutely not a hiking shoe. Slightly stiff compared to a tennis shoe maybe. Sole feels like my worn out moabs ( 2 years of every day use and worn out) there is also a height difference of where the sole sits. Tried side by side for comparison. Ultimately I either will get a smaller size or give to my mother in law who wears the same size and loves tennis shoes. I think I would rather wear my worn out moabs..... So if you love the Moab feel you will be disappointed. If your just looking for a pair of walking shoes you might like them. But go a size smaller.
