  • Best Bass I have heard
These headphones have been the best sound quality (with iCue Equalizer) I have ever heard. I use these for gaming and for work, I have grabbed quite a few headsets to compare and nothing holds a candle to these boys. If I could just get them to be as comfortable as the Logitech G435 that would be an amazing match. I think that if you are going to be gaming for a short period of time the weight of the headset will not bother you, but I work 10 hour days and stream after that, so no relief haha. I would also like the quality of the build to be slightly different as the metal is coated and the coating chips after awhile. The headset being so heavy also keeps that heat trapped in the mesh ear cups. The mic isn't too sensitive and has quite clear and smooth tone from what I hear in my side tone and my friends express, I do use my mic in a RP server when away from my external mic. Over all I think this is a well rounded headset for its price, I would just go with something lighter if you are looking for long sessions. ... show more

  • Best Quality for Lowest Price
I use these for work, I work at a call center. Someone at my work recommended them, and many people had these in the office before covid when we all went home. I accidentally dropped my first pair and broke the volume adjuster. It still worked for over a year after that, and I could still adjust the volume with my mouse on the screen, and then eventually it died out and wouldn’t turn on anymore. I bought a cheaper brand thinking I could save even more money, but quickly realized what I was missing. The other brand wasn’t as sturdy and broke within the first week and it was irreparable, unlike the Corsair headset I had before. So, I spent a little more and got me another Corsair headset. It’s not even that much more and SO worth the money! I love the feel of the soft cushions against my head, which have generous proportions to fit even the biggest ears, and they are definitely insulated well. I can’t hear much, if any, outside noise. And they are wireless, so I can walk around while I talk. I absolutely LOVE this headset! ... show more

  • Its Good With 1 Caveat
This headset sounds good, has pretty decent directional audio, and is built a lot better than my old Corsair HS70 headset was (at least as far as I can tell at the time of this review). The single biggest issue is that it may be too small for my head. It pinches my skull right above both ears. The adjustment sliders on both sides do nothing to fix this. I guess the problem might be my head and not the headset, but I would have thought corsair would make a more adjustable headset than this at a hundred dollars. Sure, this is not a high end product, but I expected more than I got. TL;DR if you have a normal sized head, you're probably fine. If not, you might get screwed. ... show more

  • Solid wireless headphones
They sound good and the only quality issues I had was the microphone lever got loose and would slide down from the muted position a lot and after just over 2 years the headband broke, it cracked on the hard plastic up top.

  • fantastic headset. a little iffy on work from home call clarity.
these simply will not break. built like a TANK. however, the sound quality leans towards bassy / video games. I also use this for call center jobs and there are some mild issues with treble audio nuance but not enough to make me give up on it.

  • Amazing wireless headphones, Actually sound great, AMAZING value!
I have been looking for a good wireless headset that is not that expensive and fits my large head, and I found them with these. The sound actually sounds great, $55 headphones that are this good and feel solidly built are hard to come by. The earcups actually fit over my ears as well, and a cool little thing is they have RGB lighting on the sides, you can customize them with the Corsair software and check the battery, and also turn on 7.1 surround. Best headphones I think I have found for the price, for now. ... show more

  • Good headset, bad mic.
I plan to return them, the mic is barely audible unless you are using the powerful gaming headphones to hear at high volume and also have NO other audio/games playing while you talk. I tried the Corsair forums and saw this is a common problem for this headset, no altered settings can fix this and I also tried recording on 5 different platforms (OBS studios, twitch studios, Xbox, discord, GarageBand, various steam games, PC audio recorder, etc). all with the same consensus: it’s a good quality mic but so quiet it’s not really usable. PROS: - nice all black look - current discount makes these only ~$60 - comfy on the ears - Flexible enough to bend and move around without fear of breaking - good for larger heads, I thought I had a big head but use this on the smallest setting. - mic-up-to-mute feature. This is a new MUST-HAVE for me. It’s very convenient. -long battery life. The lowest I’ve ever seen it go is 23% after long usage. CONS: -mic is pointless! It’s too quiet, people can barely hear you in game/discord/recordings and your mic will be swallowed up if there are ANY other audio sounds playing at the same time as you speaking -USB dongle needs to be plugged in to your computer to use and it is HUGE, it jets out from your computer a few inches and I’m always afraid it’s going to snap off. If you are going to use these with a laptop, you’re going to hate this stupid USB dongle. - you can’t use them without downloading the Corsair app on your computer, you also need the app to view charging status and change pesky default settings -comes with default settings of someone talking in your ear every time you change anything or mute (can’t turn off unless you get their program) -no clear instructions. There was a warning pamphlet but nothing more - set-up required. I had to Google how to set these up... at this price point that shouldn’t be necessary. It wasn’t as simple as plug in and go and it took a while to figure out that I needed to download their app and set it up. If you’re on a time crunch, don’t buy these if you plan to use them the day you receive them! The confusing setup process takes the excitement and time away from what you plan to use them for upon opening. - the headband sits too far up on the forehead, if you look down or below eye level they start to slide forward & off the head. -mute and off button are alongside each other with no texture variation or separation between the buttons. Gives you the feel that you’re gonna power off the headset if you try to hit mute. - they need to be “on” for the Corsair app to confirm they are charging, even when plugged in. Their software does not show it as charging unless you turn these on. - pesky additional chord needed to charge them which is long. These aren’t exactly cordless since you will need to charge them with your chord after each use, just one more thing to keep track of. So not only do you have a USB import for the dongle to connect to your computer but you ALSO use another USB import if you need to quickly charge it in game. Two separate imports for one headset- poor design, even if you can swap the charging cord tor the dongle it’s still careless user design. - the charging port on the headset is not easy to find while wearing them, they could have added some variation or design around the socket to help you plug it in on-the-go, but it’s not as seamless so you have to take off the headphones. It seems silly but after a few times wearing them this just felt like a small addition that would have made too much sense for the user to have as an option. -overall NOT user friendly, there were so many design flaws in my opinion and things I would have suggested changing after only my first use. The low mic audio alone is why I will be finding a different headset to game and stream with. If you want headphones these are fine, but if you need a mic for ANY reason I would not get these. ... show more
