As one would expect with most RAM, installation and setting XMP to get the advertised speeds and timings was simple. As far as that goes, everything went as expected. What is better, I managed to squeeze my timings down to C17-21-21-39 and might even be able to squeeze it further, but have settled on the stability the C17 timings offer for now. With RAM, it does depend on the chip lottery whether you can get decent OC mileage, so even my meagre performance increase might not be replicable on the same model. That said, there were no issues with delivery, setup, and installation and just the XMP was a considerable upgrade from my last kit. Boosted my FPS on certain games and is definitely a minimum must buy for really RAM heavy games. So far, so good!

I am very pleased with the quality of these for the price. As a retired electronics repair tech I have seen my share of junk electronics assemblies and these are of good quality. The fit and finish is very impressive and I can't complain at all about the performance. One thing that has troubled me about a lot of consumer electronics is the lack of proper electrostatic packaging. These are properly packaged which is always a plus. I highly recommend these for an exceptional value.

Like the title says, only 2/4 sticks were good. They ran fine for one day with all 4 present, then after switching to 3600mhz memory clock with the rest of the settings on auto it threw up some wild blue screens. Different errors each reset. Some where ntfs errors, some were i/o errors, some were dll conflicts. Originally I thought it was a dll conflict since i just installed AVG and forgot to turn off win10 native AV, but it wouldn't let me run in safe mode to uninstall AVG. Reinstalling win10 would give me the same blue screens. Eventually it stopped POSTing and was stuck on the DRAM light so I reset the BIOS using cmos jumpers. That got it POSTing but still blue screened til it eventually wouldn't POST in the same manner but made it through a win 10 reinstall. After which i spent an hour playing the RAM testing game and deduced 2 of the 4 sticks were bad through process of elimination. Haven't had any problems since and I'm just running in 2 slot mode with auto clock speed Running a B550 board with a 5600x.

Bought this to upgrade my girlfriends PC. Runs at the advertised speeds and gave her that boost her memory needed. Now if I could just get her to play the same games as me and off The Sims.

As long as you aren't looking for rgb, then buy this ram kit. profile is low enough that I have 0 issues in a sff, water-cooled case, good amount of memory at a great price.

This amount of ram is handling wonderfully. Been using corsair ram for my builds because for the years of youtubers having adds with corsair left and right, it was always advertised and I trusted that too much. But it was a good pick nevertheless. Know that you can easily game with less amount of ram or with less quantity of sticks, when running more tasks or heavier title games with more graphics I could highly recommend higher to be safer. Also look at all the numbers of specs to know if your ram has the higher numbers in other regards. This specific set was on sale at the time and just had better numbers then evenly suggested competitors or sticks.
