I wanted to make the switch to DDR5 RAM with my recent processor upgrade. DDR5 hasn't matured yet and is a bit expensive for what you get, but I rather have it now then later. I chose this kit because of the price and reliability. I know some other options might have a higher MHz rating and lower latency but most of them have a low amount of user feedback. This particular set had a decent amount of reviews for how new it is but most importantly it is base rated DDR5 RAM. It isn't the BEST I can purchase but by nature it should be the most reliable. You can enable your XMP profile in your BIOS but I don't believe it actually does anything because this is the base of DDR5. Very simple look and relatively lower height, I would recommend this RAM to all buyers. ... show more

Works well with Dell XPS 8960 w i7-13700k. I know some people can go for higher speeds but I wanted one that I would be sure to work without instability and I don't believe Dell supports XMP in the bios. Thankfully other reviews mentioned it worked. At time of purchase 64gb for about 180 was a good value and better than Dell's RAM upgrade options. No problems booting up after, just acknowledged that the Ram configuration changed and subsequent PC boots were in less than 15 seconds if anyone was concerned about stability. ... show more

I’ve noticed that this item is frequently returned. I believe it is because many users are not aware they need to look at what speeds their motherboard is capable of handling the RAM. So please check your system. Otherwise it has worked for me no problems.
