  • Amazing voltage regulation with stunning looks.
Very good quality unit with very tight voltage regulation. I've included a screenshot of system specs while the PC was under a full load. The 12V rail was dead on, with a slight jump while idle, the 5V fluctuated between 5 and 5.04, still plenty safe and stable. CPU voltage didn't fluctuate once under load. This was fantastic news for me, because my old unit had a lot of fluctuation, especially at higher overclocks. Prior to getting this unit, I settled for a 4.5GHz overclock on my 6700K due to inconsistent voltages under load at higher clocks(delta between min and max was near .02v). With this new unit, my first short test at 4.8GHz was a success with 100% consistent voltage under load and only .004 vdroop(1.42 in BIOS, 1.416 under load, 1.424 idle, difference of only .008). An 8 hour test should tell me if my old PSU was really what was holding me back, from there I might see if this unit's tighter regulation will allow me to set it a little lower in the BIOS. Very pleased with the performance. For the price, 80+ Platinum would have been nice but...for what you get it's still worth it. When under 40% load the fan doesn't spin making your system very quiet during light usage. Once you hit 40% load(or a certain temperature) the fan kicks on and is still pretty quiet. Now, not only does the unit perform great, it also looks fantastic, especially in a white themed build or one with RGB lighting. I like the individually sleeved white cables and the included cable combs(those suckers are so expensive to buy separate, for what they are). The Corsair website's production description gives you incorrect details about the number of included cables, but the picture is accurate. These are also very high quality cables, seems like a decently thick gauge wiring, and there are capacitors in some of the cables which help with stability, reliability and safety. I'm a little upset that they didn't included branded Velcro wraps for the cables. Literally every other unit I've bought from other brands comes with them, and those units cost half as much as this. I did appreciate the solid emblem for your case(instead of the sticker that some others give), but I feel that at this price range, including 50 cents worth of velcro wraps should be a no brainer for customer satisfaction. At least they slapped a 10 year warranty on it though, this unit will be in at least 2 or 3 PCs during that time. Power cable to the wall is also very thick. Aside from not including the Velcro cable wraps, they didn't really cheap out on anything with this. And as a note about overvolting and overclocking my CPU: it's been delidded, the TIM underneath replaced with liquid metal, then the IHS reseated. I'm a risk taker with no regards for my CPU's warranty(voided it within 5 minutes of opening the box haha!), your results may vary and you have to be sure to take the risks into consideration before doing anything outside of manufacturer recommendations. ... show more

  • Bright White Modded Cables (Standard) on this RMz750x PSU
I should give this PSU five stars, but there's a couple things that would make it so...first ti would be nice if they offered different color options, if not just a black/white option for the (white) gold-plus series. Not having to pay for the original bundled cables is key here, there should be other color options for the PSU with coordinating paracord colors. If everyone's (desktop builders) buying modded cables anyway, you got there business! Also they did not supply a single GPU cable for single card use. It's just more cabling to hide if you use a single, fast, GPU like I do. I didn't want to use the PSU part of my case's shrouding, and hide it's bright white color, to match with my white themed Corsair 460X Crystal case. Still...you want this! ... show more

  • Clean White Look. Read/Look At Picture
Clean looking psu with really weird separately sleeved cables. It's not so bad but getting use to is a change. I would rather buy other psu from them unless you really want the cables and or like white pc products as much as me. Its not a full 24 pin into the psu it's 16 and a 8. Look at the picture to see the Midway on each wire that has shrink wrap with the transistors on it. I don't know the science behind it but just thought I would show people before they buy. ... show more

  • Love it, but...
I got this power supply because it came with presleeved cables and combs. It works great with no problems at all. I wish it had usb functionality like my other one but this is for an HTPC so it’s fine. The only gripe I can find about this unit is that I wish the cables were thicker. The sleeping is high quality but there’s a good bit of space between wires in each cable set. Not a bad thing just me being picky. ... show more

  • Beware of using old cables!
Be aware, Use the cables that come with this PSU. I've always done Thermaltake PSUs, and have gotten away with sharing past cables between PSUs. I was sorely mistaken this time. Fried the board on a 4TB HD (thankfully fixed)... the pin outs are different between manufacturers, just expect it. No frickin clue why this isn't standardized yet... Its a great PSU otherwise, no complaints. ... show more

  • Excellent power supply that exceeds expectations.
Love this power supply. The cable selection provided is extensive and ALL of them are individually sleeved. Comes with plenty of combs and zip ties. Has convenient pouch for storing extra cables/hardware. Able to handle overclocking voltage requirements very easily. The fan hardly turns on unless triggered so its like it's not even running. Love it and definitely love the aesthetic. ... show more

  • Perfect for my white and black build
Perfect for my white and black build. The addition of the sleeved cables made all the cosmetic difference in my build. I would recommend this to anyone wanting a white build. just hoping they will start including sleeved cables with all their modular power supplies that would definitely give them an advantage over other brands other then just being corsair. ... show more

  • 10/10
Great product, easily installed, love the paracord cables as well. Though, I'm leaving a review of 4/5 because the box I got was dented to hell. More than likely was the transit company, but still. Other than that, the product is great. I suggest anyone who is having an issue with tripping their breaker (like I was) to buy a fully modular PSU. It seemed to solve my problem. ... show more
