Okay at first I thought this thi g was garbage, it worked great but I turn my PC off and it would not turn back on had to drain the loop take the whole think apart then take the pump apart spin it then install refill then it might work. Air looked into why this was happening turns out these thing are designed to run 24/7 none stop. Only frequent starts and stops makes then glitch out cause there magnetic and they can get caught between the positive /negative pulse that makes then run. So it if you have same problem of it locking up take it apart spin the mechanism put back together and leave it running. After I did that it's been running 2 years none stop just stop for cleaning occasionally

Easy enough to install. Available space inside your case is biggest question. (It's 9 inches tall and 4 inches wide (if you mount it on a fan or a rad.) Very quiet, even under load. Most importantly, it dropped the temps on my CPU 30 degrees C, compared with the previous Thermaltake AIO (measured with 3DMark stress test).

Pros: - Easy to Install with multiple mounting options available - INCLUDES a Jumper Bridge to fill your loop & leak test without turning on the System - Performs great for a DDC pump - Looks great from both a build quality & lighting standpoint - RGB connector is Daisy-chainable* - Great support team** Cons: - Included stop plugs are made of soft plastic & are very cheap. Highly recommend getting plugs made of a stronger material like metal. - RGB connector is proprietary, though Corsair does include a D-RGB adapter with this pinout (o-oo) to sync lighting without the need for a Lighting Node Pro or Commander Core/Pro* - Wish it was a D5 Pump thanks to their much better reliability over a DDC pump, but not a major problem here. * Included D-RGB adapter can only be used with the Pump's Male RGB connector (To connect to a lighting controller or similar), and NOT the Daisy-chained connector. ** Support team was mentioned in this review because I had received the product from an Amazon Return Facility inside a Kohls, leading me to suspect the product as a refurbished unit despite the fact that I paid for a BRAND NEW unit. Pump died after only 2-3 Months of use, and Corsair Support approved an RMA within 1-2 Days (Could have been less than a Day had I not sent an email saying I attached an Order Invoice without actually uploading anything)

The XD7 is a really unique computer component in that it not only serves as a distribution block and pump in a custom water cooling loop, but it also presents as a set of 3x 120mm faux fans. Some things I wish I knew before I ordered: I received an updated model which has an extra port above the drain ports that can be used with the included thermal sensor. Unfortunately, Corsair has not updated the included manuals or online support to provide this information and I had to reach out to customer support. Additionally, I had to purchase a Commander Core XT in order to regulate the XD7's pump speed. PROS: - Amazing aesthetics - Great for novices who want to get into water cooling - Consolidates pump and reservoir and leaves case a bit tidier - Blends in with fans if you have matching fans CONS: - User documentation not up to date - LED diffusers don't really diffuse the light - Can only be mounted in one orientation (unless you get clever) - Not compatible with new iCUE system

Easy to install, looks great and comes with a water temp. Sensor which is amazing to have! Only issue is that you have to buy the commander pro for it to actually work which is going to run you around $75. But other than that assembling it was a breeze and I’m pretty new when it comes to water cooling. Material on the white part is plastic, which isn’t too bad, but it’s definitely not Ek quality. Other than that it’s a great product and with the Icue software it’s works amazing as of right now

I bought the XD7 thinking it was going to be simple and cheap (for a distribution plate with pump at least). My question is what is wrong with the build quality? Not what I expected from Corsair. Plastic threads for fittings that are good for a couple uses with normal fittings at most. While installing my loop I had a fitting pull right out on me destroying the plastic thread on the XD7 and making filling the loop a massive pain. The plastic threads are also very prone to cross threading if using metal fittings (like the ones Corsair makes…). This leads to air getting into the system even if there isn’t a water leak. I have multiple pumps and have built at least 10 loops before this one that all passed the pressure test. The XD7 has never passed it and in fact I can always see air in the water itself that doesn’t bleed off. If you want a product that will last for multiple system builds don’t get the XD7.

The media could not be loaded. I had to modify my case for this pump to fit, but with all cases that comes down to a number of factors. The pump is totally silent, great lighting, and has an array of mounting possibilities. Price is comparable to all the rest. I am quite happy with this purchase.
