  • Great 980 Pro temps/Solid CPU water block
Color: Black
I bought both the CPU & NVME water blocks, but it only lets me have 1 review. NVME WATERBLOCK REVIEW. It is fabulous at keeping the Samsung 980 Pro temps below 40 degrees. It was a tight fit to install the drive. Located in the top slot where there is no air flow, my 960 evo was running solid at 80 degrees basically at idle. It was trapped between the graphics card and the water block just cooking. I bought this and the 980 Pro to replace the drive and improve thermals. The 960 was placed in a heat sink and moved to where ther is good air flow and now maxes at 41 degrees. Hooking the corsair nvme water block into the loop was a royal pain as it threw out the flow and was incredibly close to the cpu block. It was worth it for the temps. Corsair's custom cooling has been really good. Their 360 rads have had little debris and made for the initial cleaning, CPU WATERBLOCK: I bought their 1200/AM4 waterblock and it cools well enough, and wasn't as big as the previous cpu waterblock. It can be rotated so that the inlet is at the bottom and the outlet at the top so the air bubbles can escape. It is pretty light, and easy to install. There is not a large acrylic top, and the fins are not bent. The lighting is great and works with MSI mystic lighting. I used MX4 for paste. The temps are only 1 degree cooler than the previous water block. It keeps my 5900X below 80 degrees for extended use. It doesn't feel premium with all the molded plastic, but it does look good. I trust corsair and their products and I hope not to have any leaks. I'll update if things change. I'm happier with the nvme waterblock over the cpu water block. I have to give praise for this expensive little metal box. ... show more

  • The bad reviews make zero sense to me.
Color: Black
This thing works great. The bad reviews that say it doesn't work with their M.2 drives are serious user error. You have to slide the drive into the sled from the side, not the top. M.2 drives are the same, otherwise they wouldn't work on any/every motherboard. Nonetheless, after installing this, my drive temps dropped from ~60° to an easy ~30° while under gaming loads. I wish I had found this earlier. It comes with extra, or even thicker, thermal pads so you can set your own squeeze on your drive. Don't pay attention the bad reviews saying their drives don't fit or something similar. It works just fine. ... show more

  • Not the best fit.
Color: Black
There didn't seem to be very good support on the bottom for the block to push down on the Nvme card without causing damage or having the component lose contact on one side.

  • Does not fit any M2
Color: Black
Look elsewhere. Poor design does not allow use for Samsung or Crucial M2. Tried both (multiple 990 and 970 Samsung), plus alternative pads and the clip will not reasonably fit. Not worth breaking a M2 over. Also, directions are not helpful.

  • Good product.
Color: Black
I was a bit hesitant to order due to some bad reviews. The installation was easy and it worked well on both a samsung 970 and 990 which I see others mentioned it would not? I think most people might be trying to jam the M.2 into the holder from the top while you should slide it in from the side. The instructions were vague on that but it took me half a second to realize that was the best method. Anyways, good quality and it is as described. ... show more

  • Doesn't fit Teamgroup Carden z440
Color: Black
Dimensions were right, but the cardea z 440 doesn't want to clip on one side. Product still holds water and looks great.

  • Fits T705 barely...
Color: Black
Bought the unit to see if this fits the Crucial T705. Lots of reviews either say it doesn't or say the mounting sucks and so on and forth. First of all the mounting does indeed suck. There's notches on the sides of the bracket that hits the nmve I tried to show them in the pictures but it's difficult to get them in focus. These hit the actual PCB so for the T705 you would have to add another thermal strip at least .5mm to 1mm in addition to the already 1mm strip that's already there. The top side would need .5mm strip compensate for the extra 1mm at the base. The Nvme has to be inserted from the side, not the top. Whom ever wrote the instructions are idiots. When connecting the two pieces together it's ideal to have the unit on a flat surface and gently apply pressure down to secure the unit to much pressure and the Nvme PCB will dig into the notches. So for those out there that are thinking of getting this for your T705, I can confirm that it's fits with the caveats list above. Hopefully this help those on the fence about this. Also the whole unit is not aluminum and copper. The base is copper the fitting section is aluminum and the top is cheap plastic. ... show more
