  • Probably the best budget gaming mouse yet.
Bought this to replace my Logitech G600, as the side buttons on it tend to get stuck "on" sometimes, and I needed something smaller (the G600 is quite wide on account of the third G-Shift click button). The build quality is quite solid, I had a very hard time believing this mouse was only $25 (and as of this writing, it's only $20), though Corsair didn't get where they are by cheaping out on build quality. Has just enough buttons for most people (two on the side, left/right/middle click for a total of five buttons), and is light enough to easily glide along pretty much any mouse pad. The Corsair ship logo is the only part of the mouse that lights up, and is full-RGB for those who care about that. The sensor's also pretty good, especially for this price range; I haven't noticed any stutter/jumping not caused by software (and I'll get to that in a sec), and it tracks accurately even on my glass (!) table, though a mouse pad is highly recommended. The only ding I can think of with this isn't anything with the mouse itself, moreso with the (optional) software used to customize it: Corsair Utility Engine is fairly easy to navigate, but it's still kinda buggy (can't check for updates, for some reason), and, at least on my machine, introduces a very annoying lag upon startup/login that lasts for several seconds. That said, it's not enough to knock off a star, because it's not a problem with the mouse itself, just CUE. That said, however, it is still useful for tweaking your Corsair products, and I presume the buggy nature is due to the newness of CUE 2. ... show more

  • An extraordinary mouse for the price.
This mouse is a very solid budget gaming mouse. At just $25 you have a very practical and capable mouse that you can use for anything. 1 complaint is the dpi adjustability is relatively limited. The lowest setting is 500 and you can only set it in 250dpi increments (750, 1000, 1250... etc) up to 6,000. The rgb function is a cool feature and very customizable. The mouse has a good feel in the hand and is a good weight and size if you have medium sized hands and like lighter weight mice. The grip is comfortable and effective and the clicks and scrolls are satisfying. If you prefer larger m4/m5 side buttonts you may be dissapointed in this mouse as the 2 side buttons are smaller than most gaming mice today and are harder to hit than the larger variety; however after using for a bit you'll have no trouble clicking them just right every time. ... show more

  • Pretty good mouse
I've used this for the last 7 years and haven't had any issues with it. Buttons still feel fine, have started to wear down the shiny plastic down to a almost scuffed finish. But other then the typical wear on the outside it's held up just fine

  • Works great for the price!
As a budget priced gaming mouse, this fits the bill nicely. The buttons feel sharp and the mouse feels good in my hand (average sized hands). I am using this on a Windows 10 machine. Be sure that you update the firmware of the mouse, as this was one of the first things that I did when getting the mouse. Drivers and software were not included in the packaging, however were easy to download and install from the Corsair website. The software used to control the mouse is decent enough to do most things. The things that I could not get working, is a simple rapid-clicking. Macros (keystrokes) were easily recorded and edited and worked well. Each of the resolutions of the mouse is easy to change and as you cycle thru them, the mouse LED color will change based on what mode you are in. Also the colors of each of the modes can be changed thru the mouse software, and they even will let you choose two colors per mode which pulses the colors back and forth. Did not appear that there is much variation for the brightness however. I wish that they had an additional button on the mouse so that you can go forward and backward in the mouse resolution. Perhaps there is something I overlooked in the software that would bring you back to a default dpi, but it can be a pain to cycle thru 5 settings before getting back to the default (resolution as in how fast the mouse cursor moves, or how fast you look around in game). The slower settings work well when zoomed in for sniper type games. So where this may not be the fanciest gaming mouse, it has been working and functioning well. I would put this mouse on par with my logitech gaming mouse, and has more features than a MX-518. I will continue to use this mouse and revise this review if anything changes! ... show more

  • Really good design, not an ergonomic mouse but feels like one
To add on what I said about it being an ergonomic mouse .. the design of it makes it so your fingers kinda drape past the right and left mouse buttons. Which makes it more comfy for your hand to rest on this mouse. The design of it also features a little indent in both the right and left mouse buttons which also adds to the finger comfort of it. The thumb mouse buttons are nicely fitted into the mouse which makes keybinded gameplay on the mouse smooth and with little to no turmoil. The scroll wheel is so nicely out the way because of the mouse button design and provides no issue during high octane gameplay. If I had to say I had an issue with this mouse, for me personally I keep pushing the DPI button in the middle of the mouse under the scroll wheel on the mouse. But thats only when I get excited during gameplay. I still rate it a 5/5 though ... show more

  • Amazing mouse
I have personally used this mouse ever since I have owned a pc. It has two side buttons on the left side for either going back or forward on a website or extra buttons to use for a game. The mouse has a center button as well that when pressed changes the logos color and increases the mouses sensitivity. I keep it on one usually but in some games I run its nice to up it once just for that game and it conveniently has a way to do so on it. Feels good in hand and I've had zero issues with it either connecting or skipping around. All around a good purchase. ... show more
