  • Beautiful case, works well with a few tweaks Beautiful case, works well with a few tweaks
Color: White
First Impressions: First off, the case is beautiful and is built with quality. - An all white build is a nice change and it doesn't show dust as bad as darker colors. - This case does NOT have the iCUE option, or the fans that can be linked by iCUE. - You have to use your RGB controller from your motherboard or other RGB controller. - If you get a Corsair CPU water cooler with one, you can replace the case fans with iCUE fans later and link them together as there is a spot in the back of the motherboard mounting plate for an iCUE hub or 2.5" SATA Drives Extra features: The case has a lot of room* for a large motherboard build and some cool features - Sliding mount for water coolers or large fans at the top - Rotating PCIE slot mounting plate - GPU Support bracket - Thumbscrew PSU connection - Lots of airflow and places to mount more fans - Support for rear connection motherboards - White magnetic strip to cover the gap from the motherboard to the case Build: - I built with a Gigabyte Aorus X870E Pro X3D ICE - *I had to remove and flip the GPU support bracket over as the bracket was blocking a USB 3 header on the motherboard. This also prevented me from using the white magnetic strip to cover the gap between the motherboard and case. - I changed the orientation of the water cooler radiator to allow the addition of a rear fan in case I wanted to add one later as there is not a lot of room in the top/rear of the case. Functionality: - Front USB ports and button work well - With a water cooled, overclocked 9800X3D and a GeForce 3090, everything stays very cool in the case - The stock fans are very quiet - Plenty of room for PSU cable management with white 1000W Corsair PSU - It is wider than other cases ... show more

  • BEST Case I have ever had ! BEST Case I have ever had !
Color: White
I really love this case. I like the wrapped glass and the size of it. This is a very good quality case. The glass is thick and very transparent with a high quality glass. The Steele case is thick and well built as well. It is very easy for cable management. The three fans it comes with are very good quality and very quiet with nice and bright RGB color. All the fans are daisy chained together so you only need one pwm fan and argb port. I like the white banding in the glass on the top and bottom. It hides the top fans. This case is very easy to work with. If I had to complain about anything it would be the top plastic feels like it might become brittle in years to come and it does not have a filter on the top but it does not need it but I know some cases have them. You can always get filter by the sheet if you want to install it. Great case, I will be getting another one for another build. All my stuff stays cool and looks better in-person than in pics. ... show more

  • A VERY GOOD Case With A Couple Of Caveats A VERY GOOD Case With A Couple Of Caveats
Color: White
I originally bought the Vault 4000D for my updated 9800X3D build, but when I saw the 4500X it really caught my interest, so I decided to try it. And with only a few small issues, I'm extremely happy with the case. I'll break this review down into sections: Aesthetics: This is a gorgeous case! The listing pictures doesn't do it justice. The wrap around glass side panel is definitely the star of the show and I sincerely appreciate the technical design for installation and removal. I do a lot of tweaking of my systems, so that's a nice plus. For a reasonably priced case, this side panel (which had to be expensive to produce) is even more impressive. The fit and finish of this case is solid, and I thought the vented back panel for the side fans looked really nice as well. I was also glad Corsair went with an open PSU shroud cover vs. the large, vented panel used in the standard 4000D. It allowed me to install an 8.5" monitor in front of the PSU shroud, and I love the look of it! Build Experience: I have used quite a few Corsair cases, so there really weren't many surprises here. The Infinity Rail system for the top fans is a great feature that I have enjoyed in several previous Corsair cases. Mounting the radiator and fans in this unit was not difficult at all. I appreciated the mountings for case fans on the floor and the top of the PSU shroud. I will say that a 140MM mount for the front floor fan would have been helpful. Just a small case design tweak could have provided this option. Although I didn't utilize the feature, I did like the ability to flip the PCIE brackets to vertically mount the GPU. I was extremely disappointed that Corsair didn't provide the same Rapid Route motherboard tray that is available in the 5000D and other cases. I went on the Corsair website and ordered one since it was only $10. The Rapid Route motherboard tray is truly a game changer. Cable management looked to be a challenge with the provided motherboard tray, but the Rapid Route upgrade made it incredibly easy. Although I thought the sleeving for the front I/O cables was a nice touch, I'm thinking Corsair could have moved the cable cutout on the floor just a bit more so that the cables surfaced behind the motherboard. That way nothing would show in the user facing portion of the case. That's just a nitpicky critique from me. Lastly, I get that the case is only compatible for two (2) 140MM fans on the back side panel. But the look of two 140MM there is less than pleasing. Far too much empty space on the top and bottom. In addition, if you use three 120MM fans there, the empty space on either side of the fans is not too pleasing either. I modified the fan frame with a Dremel so I could fit three 140MM fans on the side. The top fan is a bit hidden, but not only are the aesthetics better, but the extra air flow helped thermals as well. Performance/ Thermals: Speaking of thermals, I was stunned at how cool this case kept my components. I thought I would have to sacrifice some temps for the added aesthetics of the wrap around glass panel vs. the 4000D. That was absolutely NOT the case! During extended gaming sessions: Peak CPU temps Peak GPU Temps 4000D 56 Degrees 4000D 58 Degrees 4500X 55 Degrees 4500X 58 Degrees So, it was nice to see that the temps were at or below a more airflow focused case like the 4000D. I do believe that the addition of the third 140MM case on the side aided in the results for the 4500X. and this comparison was with me using the max number of 13 fans in the 4000D. The other item worth noting was that running without a rear exhaust fan made no difference in temps. I decided to keep the rear fan in the build more for aesthetics than anything else. I thought the vent pattern on the top of the case and behind the side fans helped with airflow. But as others have mentioned, some mesh on the top vent would be helpful to keep dust out of the case. I did not use the included case fans so I can't comment on the performance with the Corsair fans. Misc. Notes: I do quite a few back connect motherboard builds and this case was one of the best units for back connect. There was plenty of room in the back of the case so that all cable connections fit easily. Also, I used a Shift PSU and cable this case was perfectly designed for the Shift PSU. I really appreciated the magnetic insert that could be installed on the side of the motherboard frame to fill in the gap, making for a super clean back connect look. The GPU sag bracket was a nice addition. However, the design is a little problematic. The small adhesive pad is a challenge to install in a way where it doesn't catch the fan. The entire design is a bit of a concern unless you have a small card. Lastly, when I purchased this case, it was an amazing value! The special pricing here on Amazon had the 4500X running far less expensive than comparable cases. This will be my case for a very long time! I think the only way I would move away from this case is if Corsair came out with a 5500X with room for a 420mm radiator up top. ... show more

  • Awesome case Awesome case
Color: White
One of my favorite cases, I own many of the Corsair cases and they are all esthetically pleasing and have great airflow. This rig isn’t going to see too much demand from the Gigabyte Aero 4060, but looks good while being vertically mounted. Super clean build.
