The heat spreader is made of pure aluminum for faster heat dissipation, and the eight-layer PCB helps manage heat and provides superior overclocking headroom. Each IC is individually screened for performance potential. The DDR4 form factor is optimized for the latest Intel X99 Series motherboards and offers higher frequencies, greater bandwidth, and lower power consumption than DDR3 modules. Vengeance LPX DDR4 modules are compatibility-tested across X99 series motherboards for reliably fast performance. There's XMP 2.0 support for trouble-free automatic overclocking. • If you're buying DDR4 3600 C16 it's actually C18
Color: Black Size: 16GB Kit (2x8GB) Style: 3600Mhz C18 Pattern Name: Memory
I'm not rating this on the part itself, but rather the misleading product listing. This product is listed as: CORSAIR VENGEANCELPX16GB (2X 8GB) DDR4 3600(PC4-28800) C16 1.35V Desktop Memory Part number is: CMK16GX4M2Z3600C18 When I received the part, I noticed the C18 on the back of the box. I checked it with Corsair's site and sure enough it is listed as 3600 C18. I thought that the wrong part was sent but it turns out that this is the right part but it's C18 and not C16. ... show more

  • I will never buy Corsair again
Color: Black Size: 32GB Kit (4x8GB) Style: 3200Mhz Pattern Name: Memory
I'm not one to put much stock in one star reviews, or write them for that matter. Especially with a company like Corsair. I normally either write them off as an outlier or assume the reviewer did not know how to properly use the product. I can tell you with this experience, that was not the case. I'll start by saying I have been a loyal Corsair customer for nearly 20 years, first as an enthusiast building gaming computers for myself and now as part of my career as well. The PC I'm writing this review on is at least 50% Corsair components. No more. The issue started when I installed the RAM kit, as I've done hundreds of times before, on May 22nd. On boot, the PC didn't post and I smelled acrid, electrical burning. I cut power and found that the RAM in the B1 bus had burned, destroying the stick and melting the bus in the process. Terrible news, but I've never had a single issue with a Corsair product before and surely a company so large and respectable will gladly make a loyal customer whole, right? Wrong. I filed a damage/RMA claim with Corsair and was asked to provide receipt and images of the damaged product and my motherboard. Pretty standard stuff. But 28 days, 33 emails and 5 lengthy phone calls later I was still unable to get a resolution from them and was eventually forced to return the item to Amazon before my return window expired. They asked for these photos on 3 separate occasions, as if the reps I kept getting handed of to every 3-4 days (I'm assuming once their SLA window alerted them someone had to briefly touch the ticket again so it wouldn't go stale) hadn't read any previous notes. At one point, after I was 'escalated' for the second time they actually asked me to remove my motherboard and mail it to them. You read that right, they wanted me to completely tear apart my PC and send the board to them 'for testing', then the damaged components would be 'discarded'. So to complete a warranty claim they were actually asking me to destroy my PC and then they would throw my CPU and motherboard in the garbage. For ONE STICK of bad RAM. Insane. It's as if the whole process was designed to frustrate the customer into giving up on the warranty claim. Anyway, I eventually went with a similar product from a competitor ($50 cheaper, although I can't do 4 sticks any longer as my B1 bus is dead) and it's working great. When Corsair got the notification I had completed the Amazon return they had the audacity to email me offering to send me a $50 gaming mouse 'for all the inconvenience'. What a joke. I encourage you to do your due diligence before buying a Corsair product in the future. There are countless negative reviews all over the internet over the last 2 years regarding their customer service and product quality. The once great company has fallen off a cliff. I myself am on my way to the BBB next file a complaint. Corsair, you have lost a loyal 20 year customer over one lousy stick of RAM. I hope it was worth it. ... show more

  • After you buy, immediately test it thouroughly or have it tested.
Color: Black Size: 32GB Kit (2x16GB) Style: 3000Mhz CL15 Pattern Name: Memory
Bought this 32GB Kit for my Gaming PC/Hackintosh Build. Everything seemed to work fine, sometimes programs crashed, but i thought it would have to do with my configuration or the BIOS or anything else. After i couldn't figure out what was going on, I invested in a hardware tester program (TechTool Pro 9 for OSX). Turns out one of the Memmory moduls is faulty. I t doesn't even pass the first test. The second one runs fine... Not a big Deal i thought, I just contact the vendor and ask for a replacement... Here comes the thing: On April 5th the RAM was delivered. I discovered the faulty RAM on June 5th. The order gives me these infos when trying to contact for return or support: "Return window closed on May 5, 2018 Product support window closed on Jun 4, 2018" I am literally on my own, because it took me too long to discover that the product is defective... Thanks a lot. I think i prefer not to express how feel about having ditched 379.99 Dollars... ... show more

  • Working great at 2666 mhz
Color: Black Size: 16GB Kit (2x8GB) Style: 2400Mhz Pattern Name: Memory
Received this and installed them in my new Ryzen 5-2600 build. I have a gigabyte b450 Aorus M motherboard. New PC started it up right away with no issues at all with either the ram, CPU, or mobo. Reading that most ram can be overclocked since they are all basically 2400 MHz, I used Gigabyte EasyTune app to do the overclocking. The app makes it very simple since you don't have to enter any numbers in the bios. The app does it for you. You just have to select the speed you want. It runs stable at 2666mhz but when I tried to go to 2933 MHz I finally got the famous blue screen of death, 1st time ever and I have been using computers since DOS. This time I did have to go into the bios to get my system back and reset it back to 2666 MHz and it works flawlessly. I will update to a new bios and see what happens. Remember that ram sold as 2400 MHz is not test it by manufacturer any higher, so some of them might not be able to go as high as others. I am happy it OC to 2666 mhz. Any real difference? Nope! ... show more

  • 32GB is an Overkill for gaming!
Color: Black Size: 32GB Kit (2x16GB) Style: 3000Mhz CL15 Pattern Name: Memory
Let meet just say that these sticks worked perfectly for my current setup. Asus prime b350m-a motherboard 650w power supply Ryzen 1700x on stock frequency GTX 1070 256gb m.2 SSD All I did was update the motherboard's firmware to the latest version and install these sticks as a dual channel setup. Turn on the D.O.C.P to automatic and it automatically finds the most efficient setup. Set the desired frequency to 3000mhz and voila! 32GB @ 3000MHZ with no lag or crashes. Best of all? No need to look up the Samsung B-die to achieve the speed on the sticks. ... show more

  • These sticks of memory are a blessing and curse because ...
Color: Black Size: 32GB Kit (2x16GB) Style: 3200Mhz Pattern Name: Memory
These sticks of memory are a blessing and curse because they are the only 16GB sticks that can be used to fully populate ThreadRipper motherboard (128GB). They don’t work reliably at XMP2 (DDR4 3200, 1.35v) speed. I have 4 sticks, 64GB, on Gigabyte Designare ThreadRipper 1950x. Unfortunately, I had to replace six sticks of memory to get a stable system at DDR4 3200. A few sticks were DoA. Another two only ran at DDR4 2666 (not 3200). Last week, one stick of memory just died after running for six weeks. Now have to spend time running through the Corsair RMA process. One of my Ryzen systems is using G-Skill FlareX 3200, and I didn’t have this much trouble. I wonder if this is issue with Hynix verse SamsungB chips. Unless willing to run memory below DDR 3200 and need 128GB of memory, I would avoid this memory at least for x399 ThreadRipper systems. I am testing the memory using HCI MemTest. ... show more
