  • Simple problem: sorry I had to do it this way, the fans themselves are good.
Color: Blue Size: AF120 Style: Single
I'm sorry to leave this review but I haven't found a way to place a complaint: My issue is simply that I ordered 3 individual fans and only received two. The fans are pretty quiet: not as quiet as an arctic but pretty good they can get a bit loud during high intensity gameplay but for the most part they're good. They're an excellent value for the money (still ok with 2 for the price of 3) and they were fairly easy to install (I had some issues that were likely tower case related. ... show more

  • These are 3 pin full speed fans - not 4 pin PWM variable pin fans! :-(
Color: Blue Size: AF140 Style: Single
Ordered these assuming (I Know) that in this day and age Corsair case fans would support PWM variable speeds. Well not this fan model. It's only 3 pin connection to your mainboard and does not vary it's speed when connected to PWM fan controllers, as they want 4 pin fans that allow PWM control of variable fan speed. My case was silent with the original fans on PWM. These fans are much noiser as they run full speed (26dBA @ 1200 RPM). If you want variable speed LED 140 MM fans get Corsair's ML (Mag Lev) fans with 4 pin connectors that support PWM. In fairness to Corsair they clearly indicate NO PWM on these fans. I assumed! • Very loud
Color: White Size: AF120 Style: Single
Got three of these as bottom intake. Right out of the box, the fans are very loud. Running at max RPM. Won't respond to mobo speed change. Will most likely be swapped out for a 4 pin PWM model. Noctuas are still much much better if silence is important to you. These AF 120s are noisy as hell.

  • Look great! Light is not blindingly bright:not exactly quiet
Color: White Size: AF120 Style: Triple
When I say that these fans were a PAIN to install they where a PAIN! Now, these were a pain due to the screws provided! The screws were almost not the proper size for their fan screw holes on the fans. The screws can easily be subjected to horrific stripping due to the tight fit of the screws to their holes. You are provided the exact amount of screws for the fans (4 per fan) so if you don’t have any extra fan screws laying around, consider yourself “screwed”. Now, as for the actual fit in the case, of course it will vary per everyone’s case, but these fit well in the NEO SILENT Metallic Gear ATX Case! (Super underrated case! Powered by Phanteks btw) But these fans are 3 pins not a 4, so you CAN NOT control the fan speeds, which if you’re a beginner in PC Builds this really shouldn’t be an issue for you. But for some seasoned builders who like having full control of their temps, this mayyy not be ideal for you. But it works out for what I need. Temps were normal (30-40 idle) with two set as intake and one as exhaust set at 60% for my intake. This noise level at 60% is kinda noticeable but it’s not a deal breaker either. However, my exhaust fan is able to be used up to 70/75% with minimal noise. Keep in mind these fans arent the quietest, but they aren’t exactly noisy either. Another Fan Recommendation: I will add a little side note here for another fan that is really good if you aren’t really hard on cash and don’t mind the color GREY If your building a pc, you should be aware of NOCTUA at this point. And it’s for a good reason. NOCTUA fans are a good option for those wanting PWM. If you aren’t a fan of the brown and beige color schematic, they offer some in grey as well and are 4- pin! About 14-15 bucks per fan. They are quiet up to around 1000-1100 rpm and once they exceed 1100 they make some minimal noise. They are surprisingly not as loud as one would expect from a 1700RPM fan! They come with a 6 year warranty and pull in decent air even through dust filters. These fans are great options even at auto speed. ... show more

  • Extremely loud.....beautiful white LED that match new RTX 3000 series...did I mention LOUD?
Color: White Size: AF140 Style: Dual
After getting a GeForce RTX 3090 FE, I realized what I thought were "white" LED fans were actually more of a blue and I wanted some fans to match the beautiful white tones of the light up "Geforce RTX" lighting on my GPU. I also changed up my NH-D15 from normal to chromax black to really bring it home. After researching numerous fans and pictures and asking questions, these fans in 140mm style seemed to fit the bill in size and illumination. The description does say in the title, "CORSAIR AF140 LED LOW NOISE Cooling Fan, Dual Pack - White, 140 mm" They arrived and nowhere on the package did it say, "low noise." Hmmmm.... Installation is straight forward with the included screws and ample cable length makes connections no problem. As soon as I installed them the white LEDs matched the RTX GeForce lighting perfectly from shade to illumination. They absolutely match 100% spot on. The center ring lighting (versus perimeter lights) really shines and stands well above traditional case fans. Then you quickly notice how LOUD these fans are.... They are 3 pin (not 4) so they do not respond to PWM which is normally fine as my previous set of Corsair LED case fans were three pin and were much MUCH quieter. I run an EVGA FTW Z390 which has DC controls, so off to the BIOS I go and adjust them to 75%. NOPE, still insanely loud. Ok, how about 50% Much quieter but still too loud even at 50% but it will have to do because.... They also have a dull ramping up/down sound I've found on every single fan. I even ordered another pack to see if maybe it was the first pack, but every fan has it. You don't really notice it that much at full on SRB "we have liftoff" speed, but once you ramp them down it becomes a subtle, but always present, slight ramp up and down sound. Times that by 3 and if you're sensitive to noise it will quickly drive you batty. While attempting to isolate and find the source of the sound issue, I unplugged them one at a time and the drastic noise decrease was exceptionally noticeable....again....even at 50%. Having all three unplugged was absolute music to my ears. At 100%, they were drowning out everything in my room including my HEPA Filter which is pretty audible. I'm going to end up sending these back as they are just too loud and the uneven harmonics are the icing on the cake. Pity, because they ARE very pleasing to the eye. If you don't mind noise and want strong, ring based LED lighting for your case, these are fantastic. On the other hand, if you are sensitive to noise, avoid these like the plague. ... show more
