Perfect bed for tight spaces, sturdy and somewhat easy to set up. Says use a 10 inch thick mattress but i used a12 inch and it fit fine. Bottom drawers don't stay aligned when you open them but they are roomy.

11 year old son loves this bed. He loves the lights. It fits a 12 inch mattress perfectly. A full size desk chair fits at the end and the desk is wide enough for him to actually draw at. Some others we looked at were too narrow. We aren’t using the drawers underneath to store anything super heavy, they may not be good for that. The bed is more sturdy than it really looks, and over all looks quite nice. It took about 6 hrs to put together, almost entirely on my own, and would have taken less time if the instructions had been a little clearer. I had to take things apart more than once because something was turned the wrong way, usually because the pictures shown were difficult orient with and the important details were very small. Also note that the smaller screws that attach the boards for the shelves together are very poor quality and strip easily… a problem when you can’t quite tell where they need to go off the bat. So, ease of assembly: I’ve put together easier builds and harder builds. The instructions aren’t terrible, but not great. Two people working on this is definitely recommended, especially to have a second pair of eyes on the instructions. Quality:definitely a good value for the cost, it looks good, feels sturdy and fits all the needs I had for my small space. ... show more

Arrived damaged. Seller wants us to pay for shipping to send it back. Shipping is half the cost of the bed itself. All the parts are very cheaply made. Don’t waste your money on this.
