I've tried so many types of "eye masks"... this is the only type that gets hot enough to melt the oil in my meibomian glands. The others (bead-based, electricity-based) are too loose and/or far away from my glands to really do anything... for years I knew no better, until I finally got into a deep discussion with my LASIK surgeon in post-care... these have been a game changer. I wear an outer fabric sleep mask over them to really get the heat going; then take it off for the remainder of the process. Full marks!

Went to the eye doctor and she told me to use a warm compress on my eyes at night to help unblock my eye lid glands. Been using a warm wash cloth until I discovered these. Brought them on the plane and hotel when traveling and they worked great!

This eye mask is a lifesaver for me. I was instructed to wear a warm eye mask to help with my clogged tear ducts weekly. As fun as that sounds.. I sometimes forget to :) While my previous mask burst into goop in the microwave, I was forced to find a new solution. Cornea Care Self Heating Eye Masks are very easy to use, disposable, and comfortable. I purchased these for the convenience to hopefully help with my dry eye and to help unplug my glands. Time will tell. They arrived today as scheduled, I’ve only used one time so far. My only negative critique would be that they do not get very warm. I would prefer more heat, and would like if they heated up more quickly, but when they got warm it did last for about 15 minutes.
