This tarp is good quality for a good price. If you need something more heavy duty that is going to hold a lot of tension, I would recommend purchasing one of the thicker options. Mine work perfectly to cover two 600lb bales that I have to store outside over the winter as well as my small manure spreader. So far so good! It was the exact size I needed. Grommets are holding, but I don’t have a ton of tension on them. Will edit my review if the grommets don’t hold up, if I find that it’s leaking, if it rips, etc. but so far I am very happy with it! ... show more

This is a good tarp! No tarp is truly rip proof, but even when I had support boards fail in the middle of the night, it didn’t leak. Check out the water bulging, no tearing, no failures. Job well done guys, excellent product… super hard to find in local stores, Amazon saved me.

This tarp cover is very big and heavy. Had a large 20x40 tent that had a regular top. Over time the sun degrades the top and they start leaking since most are just 'water resistant'. One tent owner suggested a heavy-duty tarp cover in a video to extend tent life. Did not do it immediately but finally decided to get a tarp cover. Did not know if 16 Mil would do the job but this cover is a heavy-duty tarp. It is heavy and it will take some work to put one this size on, but it was well worth it. Was under the impression that only a vinyl cover was waterproof, but this cover had been waterproof so far for a month or so. Incidentally, a big enough storm finally went through and blew most of the roof off of the tent. The tarp cover got hooked up in the frame and it caused ponds of water to form in the tarp cover at different places. The water was so heavy the tarp could not be budged and had to be unhooked at different places to release the water. But what was so noticeable was the tarp was holding all that water without a drop on the ground underneath it. Not certain if the tarp is woven waterproof or treated but it works. If it is a treatment, then time will tell but so far so great. ... show more

Got the extra large one. It's so heavy! Had to cut it in half and weave a rope tying it all together through the well-made holes all the length of the backyard metal double garage storage shed. Quite a job, but I'm thrilled with the results! I used FLEX tape to seal the 2 pieces together. Context-this was the first season of use for under a tent. It worked very well through 3 camping trips, 2 with significant rain fall (summer of 2023 in New England was a very wet summer). This tarp is thick and a great base tarp. It might be too heavy if you were to use for shelter above but this was very waterproof. I've bought heavy duty but in reality is light to medium duty. This was essential for a camp ground that was river rock. It would have punctured through and damaged our tent without this as a base. We have a separate bag to store this in. ... show more

It's very heavy duty. Nice looking and very functional. Slightly bigger than I though, probably should have measured a little better. But It's very nice. Just have to see if it'll hold up to a new england winter.
