Update: was cute while it worked it refused to still charged after the forth charging attempt. I contacted the company which said I had to return it to where I got it (past 30 days and Amazon wouldn’t take it back). I told them that and they never responded. Contacted Amazon customer service who said that isn’t the case and there is only a thirty day window even if you don’t give or get the item till after the thirty days… regardless of saying what Pinkfong said still no replacement. Don’t waste your money!!! My daughter is upset it won’t work and we don’t have another. I’m not about to spend money weekly buying this… My daughter loves this. She’s 2.5 and on the shorter side (thought the vacuum height is adjustable). It’s one of the few toys she won’t share at all. She seems to enjoy being a big girl and helping to vacuum! She used to be terrified of the vacuum so this is a life change! She loves to watch the sharks move with the real air and if she chooses, play the Baby Shark song.

I purchased this for my one and a half-year-old who is obsessed with vacuum cleaners and baby shark, when I did research and I found this one I knew that was going to be the perfect fit. It is rechargeable however I don’t feel like the battery lasts too long but then again Baby Shark is on repeat playing with the vacuum cleaner for quite a while. I haven’t really noticed it sucking up the super small particles it says it can but also don’t know if it’s user error. I would buy this again

I bought 2 of these, returning the failed unit & reordering another. I had read the reviews that mentioned the charging port either quit or never worked. It seems the opening of the port is mis-sized, my interpretation, & the mini-plug would not go in very deep. Both of mine worked for a few days, then quit charging. No battery alternative. It's a shame as it was perfect except for that! It has a nice vacuum sound, not too loud but can be heard easily, plays music & actually picks up light dust on a non-carpeted floor. Best feature is the adjustable handle which can grow w/the child (another good quality was too small & made our boy stoop which looked very uncomfortable & he showed little signs of discomfort. Our 2 yr old loved it. When I went to return the 2nd purchase, I was told not to return it & was given a full refund. The second was priced $10 less than the 1st, likely due to quality issues. If only the port worked, we'd give it at least a 4-star, if not a 5-star. VEry disappointed in an item we so wanted t work out!
