This is great for elementary school age children, especially those learning about the denomination of money and coins. Purchased for our 5YO grandson. He loves this cash register and playing store. The plastic coins are a great way to learn real coins and they look very similar to the real thing. Be careful of the cash drawer when opening, it pops out quite fast. One of our most played with toys! Fun and educational. Great for pretend play. Money is a nice size for little fingers. Only con is cash drawer pops open a little hard and money sometimes goes flying. Makes a great gift. 5 and 8 year old love it.

This register is exactly what I was looking for..however the spring they put into the cash drawer is VERY powerful and will send your plastic coins flying. It was funny the first time my kid pressed the button and saw the coins flying.

My 6 year old loves this cash register! We had a cheap one from tj maxx prior that he used often. When I came across this one, he was ecstatic. The money and coins are actual size which gives it a more realistic feel. Bonus, it allows him to practice math equations in a way that’s entertaining!
