Description

As Ben Franklin says, "a penny saved is a penny earned". Teach kids about money while they have fun at the same time. This ATM style electronic savings bank works with real money (bills and coins), talks, and totals your account balance. Insert the special bank card and the bank comes to life. Make a deposit or make a withdrawal and the ATM will ask you to enter the numbers and report your account balance. For deposits, roll bills into the feeder with the twist knob, enter the amount deposited or enter coins and the ATM will calculate and report your new account balance. For withdrawals, enter the amount to withdraw and the ATM will report your new account balance. Kids learn the value of a dollar and "money cents". Includes special bank card and instructions.     • Hilarious "ATM Machine"
Every time this bank says "I am your personal ATM machine" I crack up. My son rolls his eyes when I say "the bank doesn't even know how to say its own name". Haha! It is very simplistic where you enter the amount you are "depositing" on the screen and it keeps track of the total. It does not count the change or bills entered into the slots. The inside is just a cavity and the coins get caught in the hinge of the front door so I've thought of putting a small container under the change slot to catch the coins (which don't even need to go into the slot since the amount is calculated on what is entered onto the screen). My son loves it though so we continue to "deposit" my change in it at the end of each day. ... show more

I have to admit, I am disappointed! I am not disappointed in the toy, but more by the description and price. In the past, we have owned other banks that have counted the coins. You need to know this does not count for you. In many ways, this is a good thing and a great way to learn. However, I would expect the price point to be lower. The ATM itself is great. Add three AA batteries, swipe your ATM card and your ATM is now "on". Want to make a deposit? Press "deposit" and how much you are putting in. Your ATM will keep a tally going! Want to add bills? You put them in the slot, turn the knob and in it goes. Again, you manually add your deposit. Want to make a withdrawal? Press "withdrawal" and enter the amount. Use your combination (2 numbers - preset) to open your ATM and take out your money. Your ATM comes complete with lights and sounds. For the price, I would have liked to have seen it do a bit more. I just don't see the price point of $45. ... show more

Got this for my grandson to save his money in and it still works as good as the day I received it. I have only put batteries in it one time and that's when I first got it before I wrapped it.it was a Christmas gift. My grandson still loves this ATM even his 3 year old sister plays with it and packs it around and she is rough on toys I highly recommend this item. ... show more

    • Cheap lock
The combination lock on this toy was really cheap and hard to turn, and the one I got wouldn’t unlock. I had to force the door open to get my kid’s money back out of it. I could probably fix it and put it back on but it’s not worth it
