  • Great tent!!!
Color: Dark Gray/Green
First time ever for camping and this tent made the experience even better. Setup was fast and simple. It is spacious! We had a double and single air mattress with our dog’s bed and it fit all comfortably. Gave us air if we needed it and kept us warm at night when we zipped it all up. It drizzled and it kept us dry as well. Can’t wait to go back on the next camping trip! ... show more

  • Very easy set-up
Color: Light Gray/Green
I was very pleasantly surprised at how easy this tent is to set-up. I am a 70's something retired health care worker who does solo camping. Over the years I have been looking for a tent that is easy to put up and gives me added space. I wanted something I could spend a rainy day in besides sitting in my car. The 6 person Core Cabin provides room for a cot, a chair and all my belongings I want to keep dry. A 4 person Core Cabin may have given me adequate space, but the 6 person is also big enough for my two small grandchildren to join me. The 6 person cabin tent, took all of one minute to set-up by myself, first time I used it. The rain fly and staking took a few more minutes. So EASY. It rained the first night and throughout the next day. The tent stayed perfectly dry. Zippers work just fine. ceiling and wall net storage units are perfect. Taking down took a little longer, yet if you follow Utube instructions it folds up nicely and yes, does fit back into the bag with some careful folding. Quality is good, seams are strong. Good value for the money. It does weigh more that my hammock tent, but I consider the distance I need to carry it and the benefits of the space and privacy I am getting. I highly recommend the Core Cabin tents. ... show more

  • What you save in setup time you lose in tear down time
Color: Light Gray/Green
Overall a great tent. We’re 5’9” and 6’ and can almost stand up straight. There’s more space than you might think, the windows are great and it has good storage pockets. It’s also light and doesn’t take up much storage space. The air vents are nice when you want to keep the windows closed, but since they are on the ground you may get some dust/water blown in. The door is my least favorite part. The zipper covers get stuck almost every time, although it’s easy to pull the fabric out of the zipper. I don’t know if it’s due to the angle of the door or how low it is, but I find it awkward walking through it. The door also falls into the tent when opened so if it’s wet it’ll drip in. The little door mat that’s attached to it is worthless, bring a bigger and better one. Set up really is instant and a child could do it on their own. Tear down is a different story, however. Because you have to fold the legs inward you are risking any dirt or moisture falling onto/through the mesh roof/windows. You have to stand all four legs up, hold them all in place and push the loose parts of the tent between the legs and towards the center. You practically have to bear hug it and use your legs. Once you get done, keep hugging so you can push all the excess air out. Tie it up if you can, then progressively feed it into the bag and zip. Overall you’re going to get dirty, you’ll drop or leg or two and have to start over. Practice at home first. The pros definitely outweigh my cons, and if you’re tired of those little “3 person” tents, tall, pack a lot when camping, etc., you’ll love this tent. ... show more

  • Nice tent with some flaws
Color: Light Gray/Green
Well, they weren't kidding when they said this sets up easy. I was able to get the tent "up" in under 2 minutes by myself, except for the rain fly. With a breeze blowing, the "fly" can be challenging to get it on without an extra set of hands. I used this a base camp tent and was able to put a cot, small bedside table, larger 28" square table, heater, and bins inside without feeling cramped. Headroom was decent, except if you hang a light from the center point-then watch your head. The tent did fine in 10 mph breezes. There was no rain, so I can't speak to its waterproof-ness. Pros: Sets up fast. Rain fly can pose a challenge if windy. Nice ventilation from all of the openings. Spacious with the upright side walls Very bright inside Cons: The entry zipper hangs up when opening and closing. Usually this happens towards the bottom near the "color change" in the fabric. The zipper is not very stout and I'm not sure how long it will last. The tent is not easy to take down and store in its pouch. It took two people to get this done. The legs want to flop open after you fold them inwards, making the job more difficult. The stakes that come with it are worthless for hard ground. Buy better ones. The tent is very transparent. There will be no secrets as to what you are doing inside if you have a light on. ... show more

  • Very impressive, easy easy setup
Color: Dark Gray/Green
Okay first of let's talk about how easy this tent was to set up. All you do is release the pulls up and booms it's done. Like took 1 min. You could easily do this by yourself. It's super roomy and you can stand up straight. I love alle the the air flow this tent offers as well. We plan to buy another once as well for our kids. We fit a queen size and it fit perfect for camping for 2, I would size up for anymore than 2 adults and 1 child. Good price for what we got. I was impressed like I said. ... show more

  • Lovely, useful tent: cheaper than 2 nights in a hotel!
Color: Dark Gray/Green
The media could not be loaded. I have used this tent twice now. The first trip it didn’t rain, but on this one we had a small but heavy little summer storm yesterday and not a drop of water in the tent; so far so good on waterproof. Pros: 1. Being able to stand up in the tent. 2. You can comfortably fit one full size air mattress and one twin size with a little room for gear for 3 people. (Could squeeze in 2 full size and 4-6 people who don’t mine being real close with little to no gear.) 3. The views! Screens on three sides and the best is the huge open top when you don’t need v the rain flap. 4. Ease of set up and take down; I’m a near 50 year old not particularly athletic woman and I can do it easily by myself. 5. Waterproof so far 6. Love the color; mine is lime green…a thing of beauty ;)! 7. The little gear holders are neat. Cons: 1. Not being able to see the stars when you need the rain flap. 2. The back wall has no window. With kids I’ve needed to see behind me a couple of times and have had to exit the tent. ... show more
