This is a beautiful tent, it was so easy to set up too. I am very mechanically challenged and I was alone with my surly teenager and we still managed to set it up in five minutes. It was so roomy! It fit two thick inflatable twin mattresses, a queen and a twin, with plenty of room in the middle for backpacks etc. It did rain one night, not heavily, but a relentless Pacific Northwest drizzle, and the rain fly kept us dry. I’ve had this tent for about 2 and half years now and I love it. It’s super quick and easy to put up, literally done in a few minutes including staking it down. I can’t stand putting poles together, so this tent is perfect for me. I’ve only had one issue and it was a small tear in some of the mesh screen on the ceiling, however I think it was my fault on ripping it and I easily fixed it with some repair mesh tape. Other than that, no issues, it’s very durable. I also appreciate the height, being able to stand up inside is nice. The air flow vents work well also when staked out. I’ve never had any issues with leaking or waterproofing, it works great in the rain. We use cots and its fits 2 with plenty of spare room. Would definitely recommend. ... show more

Have used the tent for two nights and am pleased with the quality. It is best suited for warm weather because of the ventilation through the roof. I like the fact can watch the sky while lying comfortably in the tent but might be an issue if you want to use it in very cold weather. Would think should be fine down into the 40's F or so but recommend a low temp sleeping bag (30 or less) if using in colder weather. Very easy setup and take down. Some reported problems getting it back in the bag but I did not. Simple way is just to lift all poles vertically while holding them up after folding and stuff the contents to the inside. There are videos that demonstrate this method and worked perfectly with plenty of room left in the storage bag. ... show more

Really nice, spacious tent. I ordered this one and the FanttikOutdoor Alpha C4 because I wasn't sure the Fanntik 4 person was spacious enough. This one was slightly bigger (would fit a queen with some extra room but probably not 2 queens comfortably) however the other was a winner because it was bigger than a normal 4 person and nicer quality. This one is still a very good tent for the price point. Setup was easy, we just tested it out in the backyard but never took it camping. I have an Timelapse but Amazon isn't letting me upload :( will edit if it does! Only giving 4 stars because takedown was more difficult than we would've liked. Also had vents for airflow which is a huge plus. Overall, I'd definitely recommend this to people who camp often, but chose the other one because we camp every other weekend and the build was higher quality. ... show more

I was very pleasantly surprised at how easy this tent is to set-up. I am a 70's something retired health care worker who does solo camping. Over the years I have been looking for a tent that is easy to put up and gives me added space. I wanted something I could spend a rainy day in besides sitting in my car. The 6 person Core Cabin provides room for a cot, a chair and all my belongings I want to keep dry. A 4 person Core Cabin may have given me adequate space, but the 6 person is also big enough for my two small grandchildren to join me. The 6 person cabin tent, took all of one minute to set-up by myself, first time I used it. The rain fly and staking took a few more minutes. So EASY. It rained the first night and throughout the next day. The tent stayed perfectly dry. Zippers work just fine. ceiling and wall net storage units are perfect. Taking down took a little longer, yet if you follow Utube instructions it folds up nicely and yes, does fit back into the bag with some careful folding. Quality is good, seams are strong. Good value for the money. It does weigh more that my hammock tent, but I consider the distance I need to carry it and the benefits of the space and privacy I am getting. We’ve been camping for decades, and have owned and setup several tents over the years, and this one is the easiest to setup by far! One person can have it up, literally, in under two minutes. No poles to put together and feed through. Poles are built in. All you do is lay it on the ground, unfold the corners and pick up from the center and extend the corner legs. So simple, so easy. Lots of headroom, windows and ventilation. We’ve had it in rain and there was no leakage and no water inside, no bugs and the build quality is great. The only downfall, if you want to get picky, is that the main door zipper has a tendency to get caught on the flap that goes over it. Very minor issue. Overall I can easily say this is the best tent we’ve ever owned, hands down! ... show more

Overall a great tent. We’re 5’9” and 6’ and can almost stand up straight. There’s more space than you might think, the windows are great and it has good storage pockets. It’s also light and doesn’t take up much storage space. The air vents are nice when you want to keep the windows closed, but since they are on the ground you may get some dust/water blown in. The door is my least favorite part. The zipper covers get stuck almost every time, although it’s easy to pull the fabric out of the zipper. I don’t know if it’s due to the angle of the door or how low it is, but I find it awkward walking through it. The door also falls into the tent when opened so if it’s wet it’ll drip in. The little door mat that’s attached to it is worthless, bring a bigger and better one. Set up really is instant and a child could do it on their own. Tear down is a different story, however. Because you have to fold the legs inward you are risking any dirt or moisture falling onto/through the mesh roof/windows. You have to stand all four legs up, hold them all in place and push the loose parts of the tent between the legs and towards the center. You practically have to bear hug it and use your legs. Once you get done, keep hugging so you can push all the excess air out. Tie it up if you can, then progressively feed it into the bag and zip. Overall you’re going to get dirty, you’ll drop or leg or two and have to start over. Practice at home first. The pros definitely outweigh my cons, and if you’re tired of those little “3 person” tents, tall, pack a lot when camping, etc., you’ll love this tent. ... show more
