This cooler is fantastic! So happy to have a real cooler not those cheap chinese made plastic department store imposters that hold ice for literally 75%less time. Sure its heavy but so are most products that are quality in comparison to cheaper counterparts. Like the tray top that you can add a seat cushion to aswell as having a perfect place to setup up a cutting board or use to set things on without having cup holders that barely get used creating an uneven surface in some cases or just making it overall less useful in my opinion. The handles are perfect and so solid and the overall design and looks are a step above most of the competition . Only Chinese comparisons are in the same price range and I sure would rather buy a US made product whenever possible. There customer service is terrific after deciding to add a inside basket to my order they got back to me fast and made it easy to add it to my order and it arrived in the cooler without any problems and without holding up my order . The only tiny thing that's tuff for me personally is the rubber clamps that go up instead of down. I see the benefits and when it's on the ground or in a tight space its great but when reaching in the back seat to grab something its pretty difficult trying to close them but I'll admit my RA is the cause for most of that issue. Its seals amazing ice packs last me almost 3 days and the cooler is never fully packed and I'm only using maybe 5 or 6 large basic ice packs so compared to before in my cheap crap cooler they made it maybe maybe 12 to 18 hours not even in extreme heat I cant tell already this is going to make my life much easier as I'm living on the road alot and using my mini freezer to freeze ice packs it saves me from having to run the truck hours just to keep refreezing ice packs so everything doesn't go bad. Overall it was the best purchase I've made in a while and itger than it getting stolen I can see it lasting the rest of my life it feels that solid and sturdy. Highly recommend over far more expensive other brands that do not offer much if any benefit for what almost $200 plus dollars. This is the one. The hardest part is choosing a color. I wanted the black but didnt eant to lose ice time and figured it would show dirt and crud faster than the sandstone that I ended up going with which looks even better in person.

I recently purchased the Cordova Cooler and I am extremely satisfied with my purchase. This cooler is built like a tank and is extremely durable. The design is sleek and modern, and it looks great no matter where I take it. The cooler keeps ice for days, even in hot weather. The thick insulation and tight seal ensure that the contents stay cold and fresh. The latches are also very sturdy and hold the lid securely in place. One of the features I love about this cooler is the non-skid feet. It stays put wherever I place it, even on a wet surface. The handles are also very comfortable and make it easy to carry, even when it's fully loaded. Overall, I highly recommend the Cordova Cooler. It's the perfect cooler for camping trips, beach outings, tailgating, or any other outdoor adventure. It's durable, reliable, and looks great too. If you're in the market for a new cooler, look no further than the Cordova!

This is a rock-solid cooler that competes very well with the Yeti (as opposed to be an ‘almost as good cheaper cooler’). Initially designed for Alaskan deep-see fishers, the Cordova cooler is designed for challenging environmental conditions. Cosmetically, the front of the cooler has a design of what looks like a mountain range molded into it. Much more unique than the competitors with a blank side to the front. Functionally the cooler is ergonomically design from top to bottom. The lid secures with rubber toggles that are attached to the body of the cooler and fits into the lid. Yeti does the opposite with the toggles attached to the lid. I initially wondered why Cordova changed that, and then realized having the toggles on the body keep them from getting in the way on the lid when accessing the cooler. The lid also is stays in place when partially open or fully open. A nice detail to not have to hold it with one hand or an elbow while getting things out. The cooler body and lid have holes on the front and left for locks. The bottom of the cooler has four non-slip rubber feet (small circles) to ensure the cooler stays put. Whatever the material is, it seems to keep the cooler in place. Pushing it on a flat linoleum floor, the cooler didn’t want to move. The cooler has rigid aluminum handles that fold up from the side of the cooler to a position about 70 degrees from vertical. Perfect for carrying the cooler. The handles also have bottle openers in the handles. How do it cool? Fantastic! At this price level, I expected great performance and got it. One of the things most anyone with experience of these type coolers know to do is to pre-charge ahead of time before using for long periods of time. That is as simple as putting a bag of ice in the cooler overnight. Overall, this a well-made cooler that is priced lower than the big name competitors and seems to perform just as well.
