UPDATE: customer service is AMAZING! First unit started just stopping and would run a few more laps with a quick nudge from my pool pole. Cust Serv sent a replacement and it was great at first thief again with the just stopping. Budging doesn’t work with this unit. So sending both back. I will say though that it is probably a GREAT unit for plaster pools. Mine is vinyl and the shells are slick plastic…no grip. I assume this is the issue for my situation so I will look for an until that has been made more for vinyl bottom pools AND one that has the surface skimmer. Was spoiled with the idea of what could be! hahaha I am still leaving this at 5 stars because it really is an amazing vac…just not for my type pool I suppose. This has been amazing for my pool routine! I haven’t opened up for the season yet but drop this into the pool when I’m leaving for work to clean the settled junk from winter. Come home from work and pull it out. Not sure on battery yet because I’m always gone when it’s running. I have an 18ft round above ground pool and have dropped it in three times so far and the bottom junk and leaves are gone! Reviews mentioned it doesn’t sweep up large leaves, but it absolutely does! see pics. 🍂 🍁 I was skeptical because I bought it on sale and for MUCH less than the other brands. But so far, color me impressed!

I picked this item over others because the reviews were very good, but they lead me down the wrong road. I was wanting this robot to be my helper and I feel Ike I have to micromanage it constantly. This vacuum, when it wants to work, is great. But it stops ALL THE TIME and it isn’t dead. This says it will run 90 mins, nope! Maybe runs 20 mins and doesn’t make it around my whole pool. It acts dead constantly, then when I try to pull it out of the pool, it starts running again. I have to constantly make sure it keeps moving. If it stops, it will not move at all. Not sure if I just got a lemon or what, but I’m about to throw him in the trash. Super bummed on the money we spent, and I am just out of the return window so I can’t return it. When we first got it, it was great, but in less than a month, its performance has failed us. I would be very cautious on the robot. I will be looking for something else. I love being able to vacuum without having to hook up the hose to my filter. But this one just isn’t it.

First ten days… worked excellent every other night. I don’t get a lot of debris in my pool.. just tiny bugs and tiny pieces of leaves.. but this vacuum picked up EVERYTHING. It parks itself on the edge of the pool so I can grab it with my hook easily. Now… it still works excellent, but even on a full charge (wait for the light on the plug to turn green) it only runs for about 30 minutes before parking itself and shutting off. A bit disappointed. Put it back on charger and takes a couple hours to recharge.. which I guess would be okay if it didn’t throw off my cleaning routine.

Was very on the fence about this product and honestly, i still am. Does it pick up stuff? Yes. Does it pick up everything? No. It goes so fast it does more stirring up then picking up. It gets stuck on every single tiny bump in the liner. Now if i had time to stay out there and baby sit it and get it unstuck every 2-3 minutes maybe it would pick it all up. But the point of this for me was to not have to take the time to do that. I think this is good to get some of it up but in the end, I’ll still have to vacuum myself.

Well made and works well. No defects. Had to take off one star because of battery life. It lasts almost an hour. Supposed to last 90 minutes, so it's close, but not quite there.

This vacuum doesn't run for very long between charges. It also wire frequently drives to a wall and just stops. It will sometimes drive away from the wall again, but only about half the time. I can see the track that it drove, so I know it is working, but it doesn't have any sort of mapping ability and won't travel anywhere near the entire surface of my small above ground pool before quitting. It only vacuums about 1/4 of it and leaves huge areas unclean.

I was a bit hesitant at first not expecting too much. I opened the box, changed the box, charged the unit up, turned it on and put it in the pool. The thing took off pretty fast and started cleaning the 27’ above ground liner pool like nobody’s business. I was impressed to say the least. After about an hour it parked itself against the side of the pool waiting for me to use the included hook that mounts to your pole to pick it up. When I opened the unit up and removed the internal screen, I could not believe the amount of trash it picked up. I then got the water hose out to clean it all out and took an old towel out an old towel to dry it off and brought the head unit inside to recharge. I am actually looking forward to putting it back in the pool when I get home from work to do it again. This little robot is amazing. I am wondering why it took me so long to purchase one. No more getting the vacuum hose out and connecting it to the pump and asking my wife to clean the pool. It is well worth the money and with the coupon, it’s a no brainer. Love this little machine so far. I just used it once so I don’t know how long it will hold up…..

This thing is amazing! I can’t tell you how well it sucks (see what I did there lol)? My grandson or the yard fairies or possibly aliens had dumped a lot of soil and small pebbles in my pool. After hours of tedious and largely unsuccessful attempts of vacuuming with the hose attachment, I decided to give this a try and it was worth every penny. It wasn’t overnight but it went from looking like the pool needed to be drained to almost 100% cleaned of the dirt and rocks. Highly recommended!!!!!
