This is a nicely balanced and reasonably powerful saw. I think that its variable speed works even better than my brand name saws. Obviously, this is designed for smaller and lighter jobs, but it handles those jobs competently and efficiently. I cannot comment on durability, but the build quality appears to be reasonable enough to at least provide the expectation that it will last a while. The case is a nice little organizer that keeps everything tidy and together.

The media could not be loaded. This is a decent little reciprocating saw for 40 bucks. Not a bad buy. Oddly, I found that the batteries are compatible with another generic, off-brand angle grinder of a different name that I bought on Amazon earlier this year. I saw another reviewer say that the batteries for that device were compatible with Makita tools and chargers. I can't confirm this because I don't own any makita tools or batteries, but the batteries for this tool work in that angle grinder and vice versa. The batteries are also compatible with the chargers that came with both tools. The batteries seem okay. I imagine the amperage is exaggerated as it is with most of these off-brand tools, but they are certainly adequate to my needs as I rarely use a reciprocating saw or an angle grinder for more than a few minutes at a time. I'm not sure why, but the cut seems to go a little slower than it does with my dewalt reciprocating saw. Both use 20v batteries, so I can't imagine that it's a power thing. Might be the RPMs or the length of the stroke of the blade. In any case, this saw is marginally slower than the name brand saws, but it's not something you would really notice or be bothered by unless you're planning on a full day of demolition work or some other extended use. In that case, this saw will cost you noticeably more labor and time to use than a more expensive option. The saw comes with an assortment of blades, but don't get excited because the blades that are included with the saw are junk. They cut slow and dull quickly. You'll need to either have or buy more, better blades. The included case is decent. Not as robust as a Dewalt or Milwaukee case, but certainly better than no case at all. I'd recommend this saw to anyone with an occasional need for the versatility and mobility of a cordless reciprocating saw. Obviously--as with any reciprocating saw--it's no good for precision cutting, but for small demolition jobs, tree trimming or roughing a few pieces of lumber down to size it's not bad. If you need a workhorse of a saw I don't think this is your best option. Spend the extra money and buy a brand name product. As a general rule with power tools, you get what you pay for. But for the money, this is a great light duty or backup saw.

This sawzal is great! I have a bunch of fulyeah tools and they great. They use makita style batteries which is so helpful to those of us who have lots of battery platforms. This thing cuts really well and the trigger is actually really good, as good or better than my Milwaukee! It does chew up the 2ah batteries pretty quick but with a larger 4ah battery it lasts forever and cuts even better. This kit is a steal at this price. They give you the saw, 2 batteries, a charger, some assorted blades and a case. That’s crazy at this price. The whole kit is a fraction the cost of the saw only for evern a ryobi and it cuts as well or better than my brushless ryobi full size sawzal. Love this kit!

a slightly different form-factor than what i'm used to but does the job all the same. includes batteries and even an assortment of blades to use on whatever projects! these tools are getting shockingly affordable! these with the wood blade is soo nice to trim shrubs and small trees around the parimitor of the fence and yard!

This is good for the super low price. It's definitely not as good as the big name brand stuff, but this is much much cheaper than those. It actually works, isn't insanely noisy, and can work for a decent amount of time, especially since it comes with 2 batteries. Just have realistic expectations of durability and what it can cut through considering the super low price.
