For your average casual home handyman, this drill/driver collection goes a long way to setting you up for most household jobs. It comes with a carry bag and belt clips for each tool (both of which I don't personally find much useful) and a decent collection of bits and drivers (all nicely organized in bit holders) as well as an assortment of drill bits. What I especially love is that a flexible extension is also provided - that'll be a life saver more times than you'd think. I currently own equivalent 20V MAX DeWalt tools and got this set for my son, who's just gotten his first house and is about to experience the oh-so-many "joys" of home maintenance :-/. This set comes with two 37Whr lithium ion batteries (my DeWalt set has 30Whr batteries). Both tools are 16mm (5/8)" less deep than the tools I have. That doesn't sound like much, but there have certainly been times when I just couldn't quite get my tools into the constrained space whereas these would have fitted. Regarding the impact driver, both this one and my DeWalt are rated for 200Nm of torque. Regarding the drill, this one is rated at at 50Nm but the DeWalt drill doesn't appear to have such a specification (which kind of disturbs the engineer in me). I can stop 50Nm by hand so I tested the maximum setting on each drill and found them to be pretty much the same. Note that the maximum torque setting on this drill (the active level just before the "drill" setting) is NOT the last numbered setting, i.e. #20, but instead it's #19. Curiously, #20 is functionally identical to the "drill" setting, whereas on the DeWalt drill the last number is still a setting that will slip when the required torque is reached. In this regard, the DeWalt tool is more intuitive because a number should imply it will slip. A pet peeve of mine is that these adjustable torque drills don't cite the torque that goes with each setting. I've absolutely had to assemble stuff where the nuts and bolts had specific torque specs and gone too far only to have stripped or destroyed something. That just can't be hard to figure out and document :-(. Another missing feature I really wish both this and my DeWalt drill had was a hammer setting for drilling into concrete to e.g. affix stuff to your house's foundation. I acknowledge that a hammer drill made mostly of plastic is an oxymoron, but that usually just translates into paying a little more - worth it in my opinion. The documentation with the DeWalt tools mentions it's generous 3 year warranty. The documentation with this set mentions that a warranty exists but then doesn't say how long it is! The Amazon website says there is a 30 day return policy, but to contact the manufacturer regarding any specifics for their warranty. That's just unacceptable and, frankly, a red flag that this could end up being another cheap tool made in China that couldn't last the distance. Warranty information should never be obscured like that. I emailed their customer support asking for specifics and they said the warranty is 2 years. For me, by far the most irritating aspect of this otherwise very good set is yet another battery configuration to add to your growing collection of incompatible chargers and batteries. A complete pox on the power tool industry for their blatant money grab by continuously trying to lock customers into their brand via a unique battery configuration. I wish the European Union would step up like they did with the cell phone industry and just force a specific standard - clearly US based manufacturers are never going to do this. Anyway, for the money this really is a great set to have on hand. I was able to find cheaper, similar looking sets on Amazon but when I looked further into it they had lesser torque specs, only one battery, a less useful collection of bits and pieces, or combinations of the above. While the longevity of this set is still yet to be proven for this review, the indications are that this set will make a really excellent contribution to your must-have tool collection.

I really like this set, but more importantly, I love both tools. Usually, sets have one good and one bad tool, but this set has two good ones. Performance For home use, I don’t have any notable complaints. Both of the tools handled everything I threw at them, and they survived a couple of drops onto plywood without any issues. They don’t feel quite durable enough for a work environment where they might hit concrete more often, but for household projects they’re more than capable. All the switches, dials, triggers, and buttons feel secure and don’t catch on the edges as they turn. The torque settings are also well spaced out. Instead of only feeling different at the start, middle, and end of the sequence, each setting actually changes the behavior. - I had no issues drilling into 3D prints using metal-infused and stone-infused filaments. Everything moved smoothly when drilling screws into dense hardwood to hold the 3D-printed shelves. Ergonomics The handles are the right size for my medium-small hands, and the grip areas are fully coated in rubber so I never feel like I’m losing control. Both tools are a little top-heavy, but the batteries balance them almost perfectly. They’re comfortable to hold and not as fatiguing as I expected from DEKOPRO. (They seemed to have improved the ergonomics across most of their tool line by a lot.) Bag The bag has metal pipes along the long sides to help with rigidity. There are no external pockets, but the inside walls are lined with pockets that go halfway up and are covered in faux leather. There are also two straps on the bottom to secure tools. It’s not a bag I’ll use since I prefer ones with more storage, but it works well for storing the odd, oft-used tools. Batteries and Charger The batteries can be charged with the included charger or with a barrel cable that plugs into the center of the battery. They’re fairly lightweight but still heavy enough to balance both tools. The connector layout is plus, sensor slot, empty, and negative when the battery is upright with the power button facing you. The release button is smooth and doesn’t catch. Accessories The included screw bits don’t feel high-end, but they work fine, and there’s enough of them for most home tasks. The hex sockets feel the weakest and give the impression they might crack if pushed too hard, though they’re still usable. The drill bits feel much better, and drilling into wood and metal-infused filament showed no signs of dulling after drilling about eight holes into dense hardwood.

I’m really impressed with this DEKOPRO cordless drill and impact driver set. For the price, this kit gives you a lot of value and feels more capable than I expected from a name I wasn't familiar with. Both tools have plenty of power for everyday household projects, such as furniture assembly (flatpack storage furniture gets assembled in this house almost daily) hanging shelves, curtain rods, and even some small, minor DIY jobs around the house- like repairing cabinet doors and drawers which, with teens and a husband always ripping those things open is also, pretty much daily LOL! The brushless motors are a great feature and seem to make the tools run smoothly and efficiently. The drill has strong torque and good control, while the impact driver makes driving screws and longer fasteners easier and faster. I also like that both tools feel comfortable in the hand and aren’t overly heavy, so they’re easy to use for longer projects. The two 2000mAh batteries are a big plus because I can keep one charging while using the other, which makes the set much more convenient, and assures you're not going to run out of power mid-project. Battery life has been solid so far, and the charger works as expected. The included accessories are also a nice bonus and make this a very practical starter kit or gift for someone building out their tool collection. The carrying bag keeps everything organized and portable, and the bright yellow color makes the tools easy to spot in a garage or workshop. Overall, this is a very useful, well-rounded set for homeowners, beginners, and casual DIYers. If you want an affordable drill and impact driver combo that performs well and comes with everything you need to get started, this is a great buy, highly recommend.
