I got this to help me buff out some paint transfer spots on my car, and then to polish it. I’m petrified to use it at high speed though, at least until I get some practice in, because it seems pretty powerful and I worry I’ll mess up my paint! I used it to polish some wood and acrylic tables though, and it performed nicely. I then graduated to buffing my husband’s car, and was satisfied. Battery life wasn’t fantastic and I wish it had come with a spare battery so I could do the whole car at once. But dealing with waiting for the battery to charge was much better than working around a cord! It’s a nice little unit overall, with many applications.

This buffer is a circular buffer, not orbital. If you are not careful, you can burn your clear coat. I was able to buff out a sedan, but had to let it cool off before being able to use the second battery. It comes with extra pads and a nice case. It is a great idea. Just don't plan on it being a professional unit. It is a battery powerd buffer. As long as you keep that in mind, you will be fine.

Wanted a cordless polisher to restore headlights. It comes with the cutter and polishing pad along with a lot of other cloth and pads. The variable speed is very nice. My headlights look like new again. Plenty of life left in the battery for another job. Very pleased with this purchase overall. 6" is a little big for it's main purpose for me but it was easy to maneuver and I was able to get to the tight spots with ease. I wish they would replace the apron with a carry bag for it and all the attachments. Why is their an apron in the kit? I am not going to cook with it or polish my car with my good clothes on. I biggest concern is the batteries. When they go bad, I don't know how you would ever get a replacement. Great value though for the cost!

I wanted this to do my own detailing at home on mine and my husbands vehicles. This is very sturdy, not to heavy but doesn't feel light and cheap. I love all the pads it came with. It has a speed change option to be able to go high or lower speeds depending on what you are doing. I feel like you could use this even if you were doing professional car detailing.
