This phone does what it's supposed to. The sound is great, the buttons are large, and easy to use and it is inexpensive. I did return the phone only because it did not meet the my needs. I needed a phone with a talking ID and memory storage for contact numbers for my wife who is visually impaired.

Speaker does not work properly, the directions do not really help to set up the features. I don’t see a hotel, or any other business having this phone. Waste of money and not worth it. Do not purchase this phone.

Despite the description, this is not a true Speakerphone. It has a Speaker, but no microphone. Therefore, no hands free operation. Since the description is vague on this point, and even in the Q&A, where i asked this question, and got two different answers, i am clarifying here. If you just want a cheap landline phone with speaker and some digital read-out features, and no power-assisted function, then this is a good value. if you want true hands free, then you have to spend more and get a decent model. i have tried all the models below $30. They don't provide. you have to go over $30.

Even though this phone was very inexpensive it works just as well as And expensive model. The sound is very clear it hooked up immediately it's very light weight I could be hung up on the wall or on the desk like I have it. It has larger numbers for seniors like me and the sound is fine. It does plug-in so there's no battery. And Did I mention it's very inexpensive
