I just want to let everyone know that the sizes in the photo are incorrect. I was hesitant about my purchase because the photo has S/M 28" - 34" and L/XL has 36" - 42". I ended up purchasing both sizes because I wasn't quite sure about which one to buy. PLEASE NOTE - These are the actual sizes on each package: S/M 28" - 39" and L/XL 39" - 50". If you're looking for a flexible, passive, non-rigid back support, this is the one to get. If you're needing a back support brace with only mild flexibility, but adequate lumbar support to reduce or manage lower back pain, this is the one NOT to get. I liked the ease of putting the support on, but I noticed that it did very little for my low back pain; no real support or counter pressure. If fact, this product is so passive (ie, flexible) that if your pudgy, the front straps won't even hold your tummy in. My expectation was for a support that is semi-rigid and did not allow overextensions or spasms. This product does not have this. ... show more

I have and use an old one, 10 to 20 years old, but it is showing it age. It still works but is very worn. The new one is great providing noticeably more support than the old unit.
