Purchased for a smart 6 year old with a good attention span. He can assemble complex 9-12 year old Lego sets by himself. This definitely required adult assistance, but he loves it, and it’s really fun. Has held his attention for weeks now.

My grandson is a big Lego fan, but they turn out to be glorified and expensive model kits. I was thrilled to see that this set had 5 very different options for assembly and that once assembled were actually played with! The fact that it becomes a remote control vehicle is a real plus! I know it will be taken apart and rebuilt numerous times. It took about an hour to assemble and there were excellent step by step directions. He played with it for the rest of the day. My six year old son loves this robot kit and spends hours building the various robots displayed in the kit. He is so excited that the robots are a form of Japanese fighter such as a samurai as he loves Japanese cartoons. Although the kit has a lot of small pieces the instruction manual is well written and easy to follow for my six year old. The pieces are easy to assemble and its a lot of fun to watch the robot move around. I had bought the blue Coplus robot kit a year ago and now I purchased the red kit. My son plays battles between the blue and red robots. Overall, this is a great little robot kit. I highly recommend it. ... show more
