We are very pleased so far with the beds. We went ahead and purchased 2 twin xl instead of 1 king mattress. Of course when you do something different you worry about how it will all work out. First of all, within 5 minutes, the beds had reached their 12 inch height. Boy that was a relief. Many do not get to their advertised height. We let them wait for about 82 hours before we actually slept on them. I honestly think that's a very good thing to do. If at all possible let the bed completely fill out inside and out. The only thing I would like to mention in case it matters, is that our 2 beds ended up being about 40 inches wide instead of 39 inches. Now we thought we were going to have a real problem because these two mattresses were going on one king frame. Plus we put side retainers on the frame to keep them from sliding or moving. At first it didn't look like it was going to work for us. My husband lifted them up in the middle and them slammed them down. Voila' we now have our mattresses where they need to be. I didn't have to buy twin sheets either. My deep pocket kings fit great over the 2 mattresses. I actually have to hunt for the seem where the 2 beds come together or I wouldn't know it wasn't one mattress. We've been sleeping on it for about 3 weeks and so far, so good. I think it's just right, not overly firm but not mushy either. I would like to mention that the sides are not real supportive so you might want to be sure you sit a little further back when you get out of the be. ... show more

UPDATE: the seller agreed to provide a full refund because the mattress did not meet my expectations. I am very happy with the customer service I received. This mattress was very comfortable at first but now, after only 8 months, it is lumpy and sinks in horribly. I am only of average size (less than 160lbs) so there is no reason for it to be sinking in this quickly. I suspect I will have to replace it soon. ... show more

Needed a new mattress. We have a king sized frame and my husband has a Layla Mattress on his side. A twin XL that is very firm. I needed something that was softer for my hips and shoulders as I am a side sleeper. This was PERFECT. Mind you I have had it one night but my sleep was greatly improved 90%. This mattress has a bit of bounce to it but you can turn easily and the pressure points were great. Not too soft. Just enough. For the price it was great because if it onlys last a few years it will be worth it to get another one. Our original king was a Sterns and Foster ...about 1800.00 a few decades ago... and it was good but This COOLVIE is just as comfortable and I am a lot older. ... show more

I’m not gonna lie, the first night was awful for me. I woke up with so much back pain. I’m guessing it was only to get used to it since I was used to my crappy mattress. I was surprised it expanded really quick within the first couple of minutes of opening. I was very scared I wouldn’t like it since my partner and I are in the plus size. Honestly we like it! This is probably our fourth night with the new mattress and I’m liking it since the second night. No cons for the moment, I also read some reviews there’s a “smell”, but not our end! ... show more

I'm really hoping to be able to keep this bed. I'm letting the bed sit for 3 days as the directions suggest. Today is day 2. It appears to be fully expanded, but still has a smell from the plastic. I'm super sensitive to things like this so hopefully the scent goes away by day 3/4. I picked Firm, it does feel firm in the center so far, around the edges not so much. I felt the price was fair.
