Features

  • Advanced Laser TechnologyThe CK1-55 laser module uses the latest LD+FAC+C lens compression point technology with a fixed focus and a focal length of only 23 mm. Compared to other long-focal-length lasers, the short-focal-length laser offers stronger engraving and cutting capabilities.
  • 32-bit MotherboardThe motherboard uses a 32-bit dual-core MCU with faster processing speed and an engraving speed of up to 10,000 mm/min. The laser can engrave online and TF cards offline. Working area: 300 x 300 mm.
  • Software CompatibilityCK1-55 laser engraving machines are compatible with most engraving software. For example, free software: LaserGRBL (for Windows), paid software: Lightburn (for Windows, Mac), mobile app: MKSLaser (for Android and iOS systems).
  • Engraving and Cutting CapabilityThe CK1-55 laser can engrave wood, plastic, paper, leather, bamboo, sponge paper, aluminum oxide, stainless steel, chevron plates, acrylic, etc. The laser can cut up to 5 mm plywood, 3 mm acrylic plates, 3 mm cardboard, and 0.7 mm leather.
  • Dual ProtectionThe emergency stop button can quickly shut down the machine in an emergency to prevent unnecessary loss; the light-shielding eye protection design can effectively filter 95% of the laser light source. Dual safety devices protect your creation.

  • Excellent entry level
Size: 5.5W
Was pretty straight forward for assembly and set up for use on my tablet with basic connection through wifi or the cable connection that's provided. Need to learn how to do some things on it like etching glass and stainless steel but otherwise it does pretty good work for the price with excellent detail so far. Seems well built and sturdy as well. ... show more

  • I dig it
Size: 5.5W
So far so good I’ve used it on wood and nothing else. I like the results so far I haven’t had any issues so not much else to say the quality is pretty

  • Perfect Mid-Size Option!
Size: 5.5W
We already own both a smaller and larger laser engraving machine and decided to add this 5.5W model to our setup for mid-sized projects. It’s proven to be just as reliable and efficient as the others. While this machine is from a different brand than the others we use, it’s fully compatible with the engraving programs we already have, which made setup and integration into our workflow seamless. It’s powerful enough to handle detailed engravings on wood, leather, acrylic, and more, and gives consistently good results. This size and wattage have been ideal for projects that are too detailed for the smaller engraver, but don’t require the space or power of the larger unit. It’s also quieter than expected, and doesn’t take up much space on the workbench. One thing worth noting is that the online support or documentation could definitely be improved. While we didn’t run into any major issues, beginners might find it a little frustrating if they’re relying on online guides. Still, it’s intuitive enough that with a little patience, it’s easy to get the hang of. This is a fantastic machine for hobbyists, small business crafters, or anyone looking to expand their engraving capabilities without breaking the bank. It strikes a nice balance between power, size, and ease of use. Even with a few minor support shortcomings, it still earns a solid five stars from us thanks to its performance and versatility. ... show more

  • Needs more online support
Size: 5.5W
This laser engraver is well made, and very much a learn as you go, baseline model. The company this is listed under is not the manufacturer, so you cannot get much helpful information for the machine on their website. The included manual also has as baseline instructions as possible. You will need to watch many hours of online video to get the baseline knowledge for generic laser engravers before you begin. The machine goes together easily enough, and my husband was able to get a couple simple wood burns in fairly quickly. The laser is, as I mentioned before, baseline. If you are looking for high definition engraving, you will need to select a higher end engraver. This engraver comes with the frame, the laser, and the moving unit. It does not include the honeycomb engraving platform, or any ventilation. You should get one of both as well as proper eye protection for yourself or anyone else that will be using the machine. This does come with one pair of safety glasses, but if they get damaged, you will need more. The glasses this comes with are green tinted, for the specific type of laser it is. We were able to purchase several more pairs of glasses with similar ANSI safety ratings. It's a good starter engraver for someone who is patient enough to work with minimal instructions and can work with more maker space open concept rules. ... show more

  • My complaints might be user error.
Size: 5.5W
As someone totally new to Laser Cutting/Engraving - I think this machine is a bit more of a project than I was expecting. It also doesn't seem to cut or engrave very well. But it also might be user error. I don't know. I don't like it though.

  • Works well but there's a steep learning curve
Size: 5.5W
5 stars for the device 4 stars for ease of use of you're a beginner. UPDATE: Added 2 images I'm proud of (the ships).... after another 30 minutes of playing with the software. This machine is well made and works well. I have only etched wood with it so far, but that worked. It came packaged well, with all of the parts included and well labeled. It took about 90 minutes to assemble the device, so a good bit of time. But it was relatively straightforward. BUT it took 2 hours of watching Facebook videos to learn how to use the free software, which didn't come with good instructions. Downloading the software was easy, but it was tough to learn. This is the first device like this we have used so we are newbies. If you already know how to use software like this, it won't be as bad. But if you are looking for an easy entree into this technology, be ready for the learning curve. ... show more

  • Good Option for Getting Into Engraving
Size: 5.5W
I am still working on getting the hang of using this, but so far, I would say it’s a worthwhile option for a budget/entry level laser engraving machine. There is a very well put together video that provides detailed steps on how to assemble the machine. I really would recommend watching it all the way through first and then use it as a step by step guide, pausing it when needed, to guide you through putting it together. I have wanted a laser engraving machine for quite a while, but have often felt overwhelmed with all the options, and such a wide range of prices. I have also worried if I will really use it enough to justify spending hundreds or even thousands of dollars on one. This is why this model appealed to me because I felt it’s a great way to really try one out and do some basic/more standard engraving to see how I like it, if it will suit my needs, and if it will keep my interest. So far I am still excited about this and just doing the more common things with it like wood, but it is capable of engraving leather, so I hope to try that soon too. If you keep an open mind and don’t expect fancy, high end features, you will likely find it’s a good value budget machine for its price point. ... show more
